Kate Gosselin Drops Lawsuit Against Jon, But Not Against Robert Hoffman, The Garbage Man

Kate Gosselin is done with smelly courtrooms and sad lawyers. RadarOnline reports that Gosselin dropped her lawsuit against her ex-husband Jon Gosselin on Tuesday. The hundred-kid mom “dismissed the suit with prejudice against her husband of 10 years, barring her from bringing an action on the same claim.

Radar also states, “Dismissal with prejudice is considered a final judgment.” However, Kate decided to keep Robert Hoffman as a defendant. He wrote a bad-bad book about Kate titled, “Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World”. This naughty captain of the coat tails “illegally tapped and accessed Kate’s computer without her authorization.

Why didn’t he just buy her a Mars bar dipped in truth serum?

The official court documents state: “Plaintiff Kate Gosselin agrees to dismiss with prejudice all claims and potential claims that she has or may have against Defendant Jonathan K. Gosselin that were or could have been asserted in this case. By this motion, Plaintiff Kate Gosselin is not dismissing her claims against any Defendant other than Defendant Jonathan K. Gosselin. Defendant Jonathan K. Gosselin agrees to dismiss with prejudice all counterclaims or potential counterclaims that he has or may have against Plaintiff Kate Gosselin that were or could have been asserted in this case.”

Kate accused her ex-husband in August of “wiretapping, computer hacking, identity theft and invasion of privacy.”

It’s almost like Richard Nixon and Watergate’s love child.

After the couple was separated, Jon illegally hacked into Kate’s email account and her phone and bank accounts. Jon also stole a hard drive from Kate’s house, which contained private and confidential material. Jon then gave the contents of Kate’s email account and hard drive, all of which were acquired illegally, to his friend and business partner, tabloid reporter Robert Hoffman.”

Okay, firstly, Robert Hoffman sounds like a bad pseudonym. Secondly, Jon’s thieving and scheming belongs in a Mission Impossible: Girls Gone Wild television special. Lastly, they have more kids than Octomom and Ronald McDonald combined, so maybe they should have stopped pumping out babies all the time and rather focused instead on saving their marriage.

Hoffman’s book was dropped from Amazon.com because the information it contained was obtained illegally.

According to Kate, Hoffman “bragged that he was in possession of over 5000 family photos, personal documents, tax and business records, plus contracts.”

5000 family photos? Did they buy digital cameras in bulk?

Hoffman also dug through her trash in the street, because you know writers do that kind of thing when they want to write the next American novel in braille.

Unfortunately, Hoffman was not writing the next American novel. So that makes him a trash digger and a gold digger at the same time.

Bad combo dude, bad combo…

Johnson & Johnson might scoop up Hoffman and make him their spokesperson for anti-bacterial hand wash, because bullshit sells in more ways than one.
