It has been a month of broken tradition for the royal family as the newest little heir was ushered off to Bucklebury about 72 hours after his grand arrival. Forget about a luxurious palace and being kept under lock and key. Instead Prince George was ushered off to a $7 million dollar estate in West Berkshire that rests on 18 acres of land. It’s close to where Kate Middleton herself was raised and she believed that the best thing for both her and her baby was to be surrounded by the Middleton family.
Just because Queen Elizabeth decided to allow this break from traditional protocol, don’t think for a moment that every security measure hasn’t been put it into place. According to the Aug. 26th print edition of In Touch security teams have swept the grounds on numerous occasions and they have looked for every possible point of entry to ensure that the whole family is safe.
Nevertheless there are two senior royals who are irate with these arrangements and have taken them as personal insults. Yes you guessed it – Camilla Parker-Bowles and Prince Charles! This living together and bonding of the two future Kings with the commoner Middleton’s to the exclusion of baby George’s paternal grandparents has Camilla at her wits’ end. Then to make matters worse the first official pics of Prince George were revealed to have been snapped By Michael Middleton in his backyard! If this doesn’t give jealous Camilla apoplexy than nothing will.
Prince William spent two weeks at Bucklebury Manor with his wife and son in one of the seven bedrooms that was completely renovated to accommodate the new family. The Middleton’s have tons of money and while the house is stunning they have stuck with a rustic decorating feel that makes it more homey and less regal. That obviously is comforting to Kate and she has been thrilled to have her mother, Carole Middleton right there to help with little Georgie. She dismissed the notion of a baby nurse in favor of family help, proving once again that Kate and really really do what to live like a normal new family.
