Miley Cyrus Uses Scandalous Boob and Butt Pictures to Promote "We Can’t Stop" (PHOTOS)

When Miley Cyrus tried to distance herself from her Disney image, the first thing she did was to change how she dressed and styled herself. Gone was the demure girl who starred on ‘Hannah Montana’. Instead, we got a provocatively dressed teenager in her place who no longer cared about fitting the Disney ‘standards’.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Disney has a reputation for putting their young stars through a grueling life at a very young age, and most of them are as factory-manufactured as they come. Kudos to Miley for attempting to break out of that, and you have to give her props for maintaining a strong fan base even after breaking away from her clean-cut image.

However, now she’s resorted to using her body to sell her new album, which goes against everything she’s said before. She’s always claimed that she doesn’t need sex to sell her music, and it stands for itself. If that’s the case, why is she continuously uploading shots of her boobs and butt to her Twitter and Instagram? These uploads have increased drastically over the last couple of days, and she’s made it obvious that they are to promote the new Miley Cyrus ‘We Can’t Stop’ single.

And it’s certainly worked, too. ‘We Can’t Stop’ has been widely criticized by critics, but it’s managed to make it to #1 on iTunes. I guess showing your rack and bum help with getting people to listen to your song?

What do you guys think of Miley using these kinds of images to promote her new single? Does it seem hypocritical after she said that she doesn’t need sex to sell music? Or do you think that because this particular song is about partying and having fun, it doesn’t make as much of a difference? Let us know what you think in the comments.
