Tonight on TLC their new reality series premiere called, MY TEEN IS PREGNANT & SO AM I continues with its second episode called, “Do the Right Thing.” On tonight’s show tempers grow short, emotions run high, relationships threaten to unravel, and families are forever changed. On last week’s show the hardship continued for four mothers and their teenage daughters. Tensions ran high at Lorna and Chae’s baby shower. Kim’s boyfriend violated probation. Newly single, Nicole struggled. Lemhele raced to the hospital to give birth.
On tonight’s show Two families welcome a new child into their fold. Two defiant boyfriends return, while another slips away. As new life emerges, tempers grow short, emotions run high, relationships threaten to unravel, and families are forever changed.

Lemehele is adjusting to having a new baby but her daughter, Shaniyah, has gotten moody. She says she’s not bringing a baby home. Her mom is concerned so she questions Shaniyah. Shaniyah believes because she doesn’t have any baby stuff she won’t be allowed to bring the baby home. Her mom didn’t want to have any of the more glamorous side so she didn’t take Shaniyah baby shopping.
Shaniyah’s mood swings make her upset with everyone. Yet she doesn’t want to talk about her problems with her mother.
Mariah is in labor. Her mother and boyfriends are there to share the moment and Mariah delivers a healthy baby girl. Baby Riley is 7 pounds and 12 ounces.
Chae’s boyfriend, Austin, hasn’t shown up since the baby shower. Chae goes to her mom’s to check in. Lorna wants Chae to be able to put her feet up but Chae has to continue working to pay rent. Lorna feels Austin basically abandon her daughter because he has to go anything. She offers her help and her home to Chae if she ever needs it. Chae wants to do it on her own but Lorna has been in the same position and she felt grateful that she got help from her own mom.
Mariah and Josh take baby Riley home after two days. Josh admits he’s scared but he’s also proud to be a dad. Now its her mom’s turn. Nicole is living with her four kids who lucky for her are helping her out. Her son didn’t like AJ either. He’s fearful his mom will go back to AJ eventually.
Michael is about to leave for his 6 month stay in court ordered rehab. Right now his girlfriend’s dad, Bill, is wondering how Michaael is going to see the baby. Kim is upset Michael is going to miss the birth but she’s more water under the bridge about the situation. Bill, on the other hand, gets a moment alone with Michael and wants a set out plan. At first he asks Michael about how he got here. He’s given a lot of excuses so he calls Michael on it. Bill finds out that this is Michael’s third time in rehab.
Michael doesn’t like to follow orders and that’s why he never stuck it. Bill can understand him and even tells Michael that he was him. Bill was kicked out of school but he when went to the military it helped straighten him out. He gives that option to Michael and Michael thinks about it.
Lemhele calls a profressionial about her daughter. She wants Shaniyah to go to counseling so she makes an appointment. When she tells Shaniyah this, Shaniyah refuses to go. Lemhels tries to express her concern and reasons behind the appointment but Shaniyah ignores her mom and insists she wants to be left alone.
Kim asks Michael if it was weird talking to her dad. It was a little. Michael does want to be there for the baby he just doesn’t know if that’s possible.
Austin is back. They’re talking about the baby. Chae wants to give her daughter her last namebecause Austin’s family isn’t in the picture. He thinks they’re still going to betogether but Chae isn’t so sure. She doesn’t want to do this by herself. Nevertheless she’s prepared to do it alone if she needs to.
Nicole is worried about doing this alone so she asks AJ for help. She didn’t want to but she knows she’s dependent on him. AJ agrees to get help and then talk things through with Nicole later.
Shaniyah goes to the therapist. She doesn’t tell the therapist anything. She was raised not to tell anyone her business so she holds on to that mentality. She instead gives smirks and hold back information. She does admit that given a wish she wish she wasn’t pregnant.
Chae is in labor and although she tries to reach Austin he doesn’t return her calls. Later Austin does make it on time and is there when his daughter is born. London is 7 pounds and 114 ounces.
There are several fathers that appear to be out of the picture. Will there be anymore?
