Venessa, a very good friend of Jill, hosted a bridal shower for the soon to be bride on tonight’s episode leading up to the wedding. And to make it extra special, she even invited all the moms that Jill has helped along with their babies she had a hand in delivering.

So Jill was surrounded by people that cared about her and wished nothing but the best for her and according to her family that’s nothing less than what she deserves. She was the sweetest among the kids and she’s just naturally everyone best friend. Even when she was a child.

Thus the family is going to miss living with her. Jill has taken on a mentor role to the younger children and because the family is so close to each other – especially as they were mostly home schooled when they were younger – it’s going to be readjustment when she moves. The house is going to feel like they were missing the last piece.

And that goes particularly for Jill’s sisters. They’ve shared a room since birth it seems and so they’ve always considered each other their best friends.

Plus there’s Joy, Jill’s little sister, to think about in all of this. When they were younger, the parents created a buddy team. It’s where the older kids were match up with the younger kids and Jill was Joy’s buddy. However Jill has assured Joy that Joy is in fact ready to take over the buddy system now. That’s how far Jill believes she’s come.
Joy can be put in charge on looking after the younger kids seeing as before that was Jill’s unofficial job. So who’s better to take charge than Jill’s own protégé!

So it’s not like Jill hasn’t been trying to fill in the void she’s going to leave behind. But now it’s time for her to start thinking about herself for a change. She wants to be married and Derrick was truly the perfect fit for her. He shared her strong sense of faith and as a bonus he wasn’t afraid of the many restrictions that came with dating her.

Fun fact: Jill’s mom is also chaperoning her at the bridal shower. Even though it’s mostly women and babies there.
Jill and Derrick make a cute couple. And though the beginning of their relationship was awkward – they seem to have worked out their kinks. Now they’re happy with each other and soon (in a week) they’ll be married. After that it won’t be long until there’s another shower in the works. A baby shower.

Michelle, for one, is definitely looking forward to having more grandkids. She wants her own children to experience the same joy that each of them gave her!

THE END!
