George Clooney has finally chosen Amal Alamuddin to (maybe) settle down with, and according to recent reports, George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Stacey Keibler isn’t too happy about the whole situation. It was only a matter of time before the mags started reporting of Stacy’s alleged jealousy — and who knows whether or not it’s true. Stacy is now happily married to Jared Pobre and has a baby on the way, so perhaps news of her sourness towards Clooney is all just a bunch of muddy fiction.
A source for the tabloid explains, “When George and Stacy got together, he told her she would be the one he’d marry — and that they could have kids.”
Sure, maybe George told her that, but do you think she actually believed him? Everyone was well aware of who George was at the time — and, honestly, I think many will be surprised if Clooney actually goes through with this wedding (I know I will be).
An insider close to Stacy goes against the magazine’s reports, adding, “Stacy is so happy with the way things worked out. She has found her perfect match and is excited to start a family. She is so happy that George has done the same and feels strongly that things in life happen for a reason.”
