According to a new report from Star Magazine, Jessica Simpson is spending $50,000 to fix Eric Johnson‘s teeth before the big wedding day. Um, ok?
The report claims, “Jessica is shelling out $50,000 to ensure that her fiance, Eric Johnson, can flash his pearly whites when the couple say ‘I do’ in the coming months. [She asked her dentist] to give Eric a complete set of porcelain veneers, which cost $2,600 per tooth. Jessica postponed her wedding twice because she wants the photos to be perfect. She wants Eric to have the best teeth in town when they tie the knot.”
I can maybe sort of understand this story if Eric had bad, broken, or crooked teeth – but not when the guy sports his pearly whites in all the smiling pictures with his fiance. Why would she want to fix her fiance’s teeth when they’re already nice to begin with? Celebrities are crazy, but I don’t think anyone would be that crazy.
Plus, porcelain veneers are not always attractive on people, usually changing the shape of their mouth and surrounding area. Some people can pull them off, sure, but who’s to say that Eric Johnson is one of those people? And if Jessica really is looking for the perfect wedding day, I highly doubt she’ll take the chance of potentially messing up her fiance’s teeth right before they tie the knot.
