Ramona Singer has filed for divorce from husband Mario Singer. Well, I think the writing was kind of on the wall here. We have heard rumblings about trouble in the marriage of Ramona and Mario Singer for months now. Last October there were rumors about Mario hooking up with a NY socialite that was far younger than his The real Housewives of New York star wife. At the time the couple denied having issues but apparently the marriage has gone downhill fast since then.
Last week the police were called during a domestic dispute between the couple which ended in Ramona trying to split a bottle of wine with the on-duty officers. Supposedly Ramona has been living at the couples penthouse while Mario has relocated to the couples’ Hamptons home. Ramona showed up there last Friday and caught Mario with his gal pal, Kasey Dexter and that’s when the confrontation began. Fast forward less than a week and we are now learning that Ramona did indeed file for divorce yesterday. Apparently she was smart enough to realize that if it was turning physically messy it was in her best interest to simply pull the plug and walk away.
Ramona is requesting that the media respect her privacy and steer clear of the couples’ daughter as well. I just have to wonder how messy this will get.
