Rush met his latest client by coincidence. He was simply partying it up in one of the hotel rooms with a couple of women when out of nowhere he was contacted by the hotel staff. And it wasn’t because of the noise coming from his room or his lady friends. Apparently, one of their other guests was partying it up as well and now the ladies he was with are claiming his heart keeps stopping and re-starting.

The guest was actually a famed rocker from back in the day and all he needed was a shot administered by Rush. Then afterwards it was like he was good as new. However he did lose his groupies. They didn’t feel like sticking around and so they ended up leaving with Rush. Yeah, they were those kind of girls. As in they had heard Rush was having a party and tagged along because they didn’t want their night to end.

By the next morning, it was Eve that had to wake Rush up from his drunken slumber. And frankly she had gotten tired of having to do so.

Ever since Rush came back from his conference he’s been partying like there’s no tomorrow and as it turns out Eve does have a breaking point when it comes to him. She was tired of having to remind Rush about appointments nor did she want to be stuck cleaning up after him seeing as he had driven off his maid. So she called him on his crap and told him to clean up.

Eve has been going through her own mess recently and Rush would have known that if he cared to pay attention. She feels like she’s been losing her mind what with her stuff constantly disappearing. Her boyfriend says it wasn’t him but Eve is too anal to have misplaced some of her wardrobe and her body products. So is someone secretly stealing her things?

As for Rush, he cancelled all his appointments for the rest of the day (even enlisting Alex to take over for him) in order to hang out with aged rocker he had met earlier. Growing up he was a huge fan of the other guy and so he went along with pretty much anything. And sadly for him that anything was a special drug that was personally cooked up in the amazon.

Rush merely thought he could handle a new drug.

[10:05:39 PM] Kristine Francis: The hallucinations he had to deal with upon taking that particular brand of drugs were terrifying. The reason they were terrifying is that they showed Rush a different version of his past. In that version Rush finally has to meet to himself at least that he was wrong to operate on a patient while under the influence. And there truly is nothing like waking up to disappointment.

But Alex did enjoy the few hours he got to be Rush just as he is now. First he helped a woman with her IVF treatment. Then he got the chance to save a porn star’s life. She and her peers were very grateful for that by the way. Plus Alex got to leave there with thousands of dollars for his effort. And although his wife may not like it – staying in communication with Rush is beneficial. Alex was able to fix some things around the house with that money.

Rush can be a good friend and with what he’s been through with the drugs – he could be on brink on turning over a new leaf. He finally admitted he was wrong to risk a patient. So this could be the start accountability on his part.

He started to clean up after himself and when Eve stopped by he even told her she was right earlier. Unbeknownst to him, she had needed that. She found out her boyfriend had been taking her stuff to surprise on a getaway trip and she had overacted. She had accused him of lying and eventually their relationship was over before it began. Eve had to continue to work on her trust issues and later Rush punched the rocker. He hadn’t like the ride he went on from the drugs!

THE END!
