Teresa Giudice's Criminal Behavior Runs In The Family: RHONJ's Joe Gorga Scams Everyone Close To Him!

When it comes to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it seems like we are constantly talking about Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice. Their criminal behavior and bad business practices have been well-documented everywhere, to the point that neither of them has even bothered to sputter a denial in months. But what about Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, and his high maintenance wife Melissa? We have watched this couple mansion hop and live a luxurious lifestyle with little explanation as to where the funds come from.

The latest season of RHONJ features the couple and their three kids now living in a much smaller (yet still spacious) rental while Joe is supposedly building their dream home. One episode featured the couple bringing the Giudices to the land where they will eventually break ground. I say eventually because while Melissa insists the new house will go up in record time, Joe has said pretty flat out that they are broke — to broke to build.

The Aug 25th print edition of Star Magazine claims that Joe has borrowed a dump truck load of money from everyone around him, has yet to pay a dime back, and still has nothing to show for it. He has borrowed ten grand from a member of his building crew and not paying it back has caused decension amongst the rest of the guys that he works with. Worst of all, Joe reportedly convinced his father, Giacinto, to move out of his own home and place it up for sale. Joe then took out a $500,000 mortgage in his both his name and his father’s. He also convinced his dad to sign for a $100,000 line of credit. The family home has since sold but Joe hasn’t paid his father a dime.

Sources say that Giacinto is furious but feels stuck between a rock and a hard place. He is also battling lung disease so a court battle with his own son isn’t high on his list of things to take on. It’s starting to sound like Joe’s business practices are no better than his sister’s — perhaps even worse. Do you think that the Gorgas will find themselves in the same kind of trouble that the Giudices have? Tell us in the comments below!
