The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recently confirmed that Kim Matula was exiting the CBS soap, and her final air date is scheduled for Friday December 12th. When the comings and goings news first hit the internet, TPTB at Bold and the beautiful insisted that they would not be recasting the character of Hope Logan after Matula left – which seemed to make quite a few fans very happy. But, according to Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, in the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, executive producer Bradley Bell has had a change of heart and he told the magazine that Hope Logan would still be a central part of the B&B cast, even after Matula leaves. Translation? They are recasting the role of Hope Logan!
Now that Bradley Bell has confirmed they will be recasting the role of Hope Logan, Bold and the Beautiful rumors are running rampant about who the actress may be. For all we know, the B&B producers may have already started secretly filming Kim Matula’s replacement. Or, they may not have even began looking for their next Hope Logan.
When rumors first broke that Kim Matula was leaving Bold and the Beautiful, a popular theory was that General Hospital alum Julie Berman would be replacing her. Although, it was never confirmed or denied by the actress or the CBS soap. Word on social media is that Days of Our Lives star Chrishell Stause is taking on the part. Stause announced a few months ago that she was leaving the NBC soap and had already filmed her final scenes as Jordan. And, Stause is already close to CBS executives because her long time boyfriend is none other than Justin Hartley – The Young and the Restless’s new Adam Newman.
