Tonight’s episode of The Lottery begins with Dr. Lennon being kidnapped by men in suits and transported with a bag over her head to an abandoned building in Washington DC. They reveal to her that she is under arrest for stealing the embryo, and she argues that she is the one that created it. Lennon asks for her lawyer, but apparently there is no due process of law for fertility crimes, and they don’t have to provide her with any rights.

Kyle and his son Elvis are driving down Interstate 79 in the dark. They pull over on the side of the road so Elvis can go to the bathroom. He tells his Dad that his arm itches from the “thing” that the doctor put in his arm. Kyle realizes that the hospital put a microchip in Elvis’s arm. He uses took in the first aid kit to cut the chip out of his son’s arm and throws it in the field.

Alison refuses to tell Hayes and his men where she put the embryo, so they begin to torture her. She is strapped down on a table, with a cloth over her mouth, they begin to pour ammonia on to the cloth and she has no choice but to inhale it.

Nathan says that the White House is caught up in a “shit storm” since announcing the lottery. He points out to President Westwood that twelve countries have legal and legitimate claims to the embryos, under the fertility alliance. The President screams that no one is getting an embryo, and tells Nathan to promise them debt relief, world peace, he doesn’t care, but no embryos.

Meanwhile the President has other problems, he asks Vanessa what happened and why everyone is revolting over the lottery and his approval rate is sinking. The lottery was her idea and it was supposed to be boosting his approval rating, not killing it. Vanessa heads to the building where Hayes is holding Alison. Vanessa orders Hayes to release her. Vanessa offers her a deal and says that if she hands over the embryo she can walk out safely and have her job back. Dr. Lennon gives her the embryo back, and Hayes warns her that he “doesn’t believe in second chances.”

Kyle and Elvis arrive at a house in the country, a woman named Camille greets Elvis and tells him that he can stay as long as he needs to, she knows he is on the run. She has a daughter Elvis’s age, the kids run up to each other and huge each other, because they have never seen another kid their own age.

Dr. Lennon returns to the lab and tells James that she thinks Hayes killed Brooke, and her suicide was staged. James wants to know what happened to Alison when she was with Hayes. Alison says that she can’t talk about what he did to her or else the deal will be off. Alison and James decide to get back to work, but the eggs won’t fertilize. Alison looks up the donors in the database and realizes that someone has deleted the entire database. They have no idea who donated the eggs, or anything about the donors’ health and chemical balances. Dr. Lennon meets with Vanessa and tells her about the database, she informs her that she is helping her by working on the eggs, but Vanessa needs to help her and get back the donor information.

Kyle realizes that Elvis is out of insulin. He leaves Elvis with his friends Camille and heads to the pharmacy. He lights a dumpster on fire in the back alley, when the pharmacist runs outside to put out the fire, Kyle runs inside and empties all of the insulin out of the refridgerator.

Vanessa heads back to the lab and tells Alison that she spoke to Hayes, and they are looking in to the database being deleted. Vanessa wants to know if Alison looked over the speech that she sent over that she wants her to read at the press conference tomorrow. Alison says she read it, but it is “horse shit” and she isn’t reading it. Vanessa reminds her that if she doesn’t comply then she will be breaking their agreement and will be charged for stealing the embryo.

Elvis isn’t doing so great, and can barely stay awake. Camille calls Kyle and tells him to hurry, but there is a police blockade between him and Camille’s house. He calls 911 and says that Kyle Walker was seen on the other side of town. The police officers speed off, and Kyle heads towards Camille’s house. Kyle returns in the knick of time and gives Elvis a shot of insulin, after a few moments he wakes up.

President Westwood is arguing with Hayes. Hayes wants the lottery winners to live under military supervision in a prison while they are pregnant, so ensure that nothing happens to the surrogates. Westwood insists that the lottery winners need to live a normal life, if the military gets involved in the lottery then the people are going to revolt.

James gives Dr. Lennon a pep talk before her speech and tells her that Vanessa can’t force her to lie. Before her speech Vanessa threatens to go after James and charge him for conspiracy to help Lennon steal the embryo. Dr. Lennon heads to the press conference and gives the speech that Vanessa wrote for her, and lies to the entire world and tells them they are just steps away from finding a cure and filling parks and playgrounds with thousands of children.

THE END!
