Tonight on ABC it’s the Dancing With The Stars fifth elimination of Season 19 and we won’t say goodbye to any stars. On this evening’s performance episode the 9 remaining contestants performed dances based on the “The Switch Up” with guest judge Jessie J. This evening on “The Switch Up” dance pros and professionals partners are switching up and that is a great reason not to make this an elimination round – it would be fundamentally unfair. In fact the professional partners would have a clear incentive to do their worst since their partners for tonight are in fact their rivals on the show! Did you watch the show? After last week’s performances at the top of the leaderboard was Alfonso Ribeiro & professional dancer Witney Carson dancing the Jazz, they received a judges score of 40/40. On the bottom of the leaderboard was Jonathan Bennett & professional dancer Allison Holker dancing the Samba, they receive judges score of 24/40.
Tonight’s show is not an elimination round so nobody will be eliminated regardless of the judges’ scores from this evening’s performance. Perhaps next week DWTS will offer a double elimination episode.
