“The Bachelorette” alum Josh Murray – Andi Dorfman’s ex-squeeze – has been dumped by his new girlfriend Anna von Staehle. The pair dated for about two months – going public towards the end of the summer.
Since the break-up Josh has been spending time with his family – on October 12 he celebrated his mom’s birthday. He posted a photo on Twitter saying – “HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my mama and best friend @mommamurray! You are the most amazing woman I know – I love you!” Was Murray just a little too much of a mama’s boy for Anna von Staehle’s taste?
Maybe Josh’s new gal-pal wasn’t ready to meet Momma Murray and ran for the hills? Or maybe the guy who won Andi Dorfman’s heart on season 10 of the “The Bachelorette” just wasn’t ready for another serious relationship.
Josh and Anna walked the red carpet together at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas just last month. But then the former pro baseball player deleted pictures of Anna from his Instagram page and this started tongues wagging – and speculation began about the status of the couple’s relationship.
Josh showed up on October 9 at the Bachelor and Bachelorette Thursday Night Football party without Anna – and this pretty much was the answer to the question, “Did Josh and Anna break-up?” He hung out with former cast members Whitney Bischoff, Nick Viall and Kiptyn Locke. Whitney is also newly single, having parting ways with fiancé Chris Soules from season 19 of “The Bachelor”.
According to E! News Josh Murray had this to say about his brief fling with blonde beauty – “Anna and I only dated for a short time and I think she’s a great person but ultimately we weren’t for each other.” The couple went public with their relationship toward the end of the summer after sharing a picture of them together on social media.
Well, that didn’t last long did it? Josh Murray and Andi Dorfman parted ways after a five-month engagement – things just working out between them. But Josh still believes in love – “I do want to settle down and have kids, but the right woman has to come along. If something happens, something happens.” That something wasn’t happening either Andi or Anna. Time to move on to another letter of the alphabet? How about “W” for Whitney Bischoff?
