#BB17 begins on day 44 right after the nomination ceremony. James says he’s not scared to get blood on his hands by nominating Shelli and Clay. Vanessa tells Shelli and Clay that she’s there for them. Clay says he’s upset that James went back on his word. Shelli says she can’t imagine being there without Clay and says she doesn’t know how she can move forward without him. Vanessa tries to talk to them and Shelli walks away. Clay tells James he’s chicken shit.

Shelli comes back and tells Clay to stop it. James tells him that’s why he’s up for eviction. Shelli tells Clay he’s putting a bigger target on him. Clay tells Shelli he won’t let her go home. James tells the others that they have to be held accountable for their actions. Vanessa says she feels like a fool for Shelli rejecting her. James tells her all they care about is themselves. Clay says he can’t trust anyone but Shelli and she asks why Vanessa and Austin aren’t up there instead of them.

Clay says they should have back doored Austin like they said. Vanessa comes to try and talk to them and Clay says they’re on the block, not her. Shelli wants to know what James is talking about. Vanessa says they took a risk last week by not putting Austin up. Shelli says Austin and her are sitting pretty and she’s put Austin higher than them. Shelli tells Vanessa that she’s going to do what she has to and Clay says her decision last week put them on the block.

Vanessa goes off on them and says that it was their decision and says they are turning the one person loyal to them against them. Vanessa walks away ranting that she can’t stand people. She’s in the backyard crying and pacing. Vanessa tells Jackie and James that it was Clay and Shelli who pressured her to break the deal with them. James says this is why they’re on the block. James tells the others that breaking them up is best for everyone’s game even though it will come back on him.

Shelli tells Clay that Vanessa it outside laughing with the others. She comes out and asks what they’re talking about. No one says anything. Shelli asks to talk to James in private and he says okay if Clay has calmed down. She says he has so James goes to talk to them. Clay tells James that they have his back and they have had it. Shelli says they haven’t betrayed him in any way and were never going to. James says they didn’t have to send Jason home and Austin would be gone now.

Shelli says she made a deal with him during the HOH competition. James says they are one unit and he knows they would cut him before they would cut each other. James says it’s already done and is spilt milk and they need to figure out where to go from here. Shelli comes to talk to Vanessa to try and heal things. She says it was just emotion when they jumped on her. Shelli says she won’t turn her back on the alliance and needs Vanessa to talk her through this.

Vanessa says it was brutal and Shelli says she’s sorry and she has her back. Vanessa says she wants to believe it. Shelli starts crying and Vanessa hugs her. She asks why couldn’t it have waited one week. She whines about James breaking the deal and how she could have stayed up on the wall longer. She’s upset that she won’t go to jury with Clay and all Austin can think about is being at the jury house with Liz. Vanessa says maybe their alliance can survive.

James calls everyone for the #Veto competition drawing. Shelli and Clay come up to draw names. James hopes he gets all the power so he can keep the noms the same. James draws houseguest choice and chooses Jackie. Shelli draws Becky. Clay draws Vanessa. Vanessa worries about being in this since if she loses, she could be back doored if she uses it and piss off the house guests. James, Jackie and Becky are up there in his room talking.

James says he wants to keep the noms the same and Becky says Vanessa likes to win. Becky thinks about being caught between the two sides. She likes Shelli and Clay but James is keeping her safe. She says she doesn’t know what she’ll do if she wins it. James says this is the best move for anyone who cares about winning the game.

Now it’s time for the #POV competition and it’s got a medieval theme. They have to land a dart on a target to win prizes and they can keep the prize or trade for yours. Some prizes are money and then there’s the POV. It’s #GameofThrows. Vanessa is up first. The stand she’s on turns and she has to launch her catapult. It lands on 26. Clay is next and he says he or Shelli have to win. He lands a 19. Becky goes next and gets 11. Shelli scores 22. Jackie is up next and lands a 1.

James has to get 2 or higher to stay in the game. He lands a 29. Jackie is eliminated. Jackie gets the 6th place crown and it has the POV on it. Clay lands a 22, Becky gets 17, Shelli is off the mat and will lose this round. James laughs. James gets 33. Vanessa just has to get a 1 and she lands 17. That sends Shelli out of this. She gets the 5th place crown. It says knight in shining armor and she has to wear an armor-tard all week long. She takes Jackie’s POV.

Becky lands on 7, James gets 33, Vanessa lands in the water and Clay gets 33 also. That sends Vanessa out and her crown has an Ireland castle vacation on it. She says she’s keeping it. James lands a 29, Clay lands 16, and Becky gets 20. That sends Clay out of it. He gets the 3rd place crown and he has to stay with the knight and shine their armor. That will tie him to Jackie and he won’t be able to talk strategy. Clay takes the Ireland trip from Vanessa.

Now it’s Becky and James. James gets 10 and Becky gets the water. Smart girl if she tanked on purpose. She gets $5,000 with the second place crown. She says she’s keeping the money. Then James gets the 1st place prize which is castle guard. This involves a training regimen that sounds exhausting or else miss the next POV. James thinks about what he wants to do and he’s tempted to take the $5k. He takes the POV. He gets his POV necklace and says you have to do the hard work yourself.

Clay and Shelli hug and he says they are in a tough spot. Meg tells Shelli she’s jealous that she had Clay fighting for her this whole time. Shelli cries and says they could be losing each other this week and wonders what they can do. Shelli and Clay whine about how much they will miss each other. Shelli is called to the diary room. Meg is drunk and is hugging on Clay who is rubbing on her. John laughs and says they are giving in to primal urges. Clay asks Meg to vote him out, not Shelli.

Meg says she can’t promise him that. It’s a #BBScandal. They are flirting heavily and Meg says she really has a thing for him. She is drunk and falling all over him. They hug some more and he rubs on her. What a douche! Vanessa is the squire and Jackie is the knight. She has to shine her armor for the next 24 hours. James says seeing it is turning him on. Then Shelli is in her #BBCastleGuard outfit and has to do this sword regimen.

She has to stab a target, slice a bar and hit another obstacle. John wonders why she would do it and says the best bet for a castle guard is to be shot with a flaming arrow and is more likely to get tetanus. When she hits 100, she has to run around and ring a bell. Jackie says Vanessa even has to go to the bathroom with her and the loudspeaker goes off at all house telling her to shine the armor. Vanessa wants to go to the bathroom, but Jackie is sleeping.

Shelli is up to 1400 out of 2400 and is exhausted. She says it’s disgusting that he has all the power. Clay says they have to say something to James as a last ditch effort. Shelli was up all night doing her guard training and says she’s exhausted and she wants to ring the bell in the HOH room and wake James up. Clay lays outside chatting with her. John teases her as she walks around tired and lackluster. John says she’s beasting through it and Steve says that’s the only way with this time frame.

She’s up to 1842. Clay yawns. She hits 2000 then 2100 then 2200. She’s down to her last 5 and she completes it. This means if she stays in the house, she can participate in the next POV. Now she has to get James to use his POV. James comes to talk to Shelli and Clay and they ask to go to the HOH room to talk to him. He takes them upstairs. Shelli has some info to give to James she got from the twins. Clay tells James that he knows no one has their backs.

James says he knew there were things going on behind his back and says they have to give him info. James asks if the info would allow him to put someone else up in one of their places. Shelli says she might get attacked. She says Austin has an alter-ego named Judas. She says sometimes Austin promises but Judas then breaks it. James asks if they’re on drugs. She says Judas was the one who voted for Audrey to stay and had Liz put him and Jackie on the block.

She says she’s angry at Austin because Jason shouldn’t have gone home and Austin should have. James says the house is full of savages. She says Austin is not trustworthy. James promises to think about it. James calls everyone for the veto meeting. They all sit and James says he could veto one of them and says they can tell him why he should use the veto to save them. Clay says he wants to play with Shelli and whatever happens happens and he’ll have her outside the game.

Shelli says same to Clay then says they have been good to the people in this house, good on their word and don’t deserve to be in this position. James says he felt like they turned their backs on him and left him in the dark on a lot of things and says he decided not to use the POV. Yes! Either Shelli or Clay will go home! James adjourns the meeting. Shelli is bawling again. She says she can’t fight against Clay. He thinks she has a better shot at winning and won’t campaign against her.

THE END!
