Bobbi Kristina Brown: Bobby Brown Pushed by Cissy Houston to Collect $20 Million Inheritance, Nick Gordon Threatens to Sue

Bobbi Kristina Brown is still in a rehabilitation center in Georgia, but for how long? A family feud over moving Bobbi home is allegedly happening “behind the scenes,” as Cissy and Pat Houston push Bobby Brown to end the nightmare and collect the $20 million inheritance left by Whitney Houston. Meanwhile, Nick Gordon has exited rehab and is threatening legal action according to People.

It’s a mess of greed and grieving for the Houston and Brown families. If all the rumors and allegations are true, bobby Brown is being pushed into pulling Bobbi Kristina from the rehabilitation center and moving her to the home she shared with Nick Gordon. Multiple reports affirmed that Pat and Gary Houston were seen cleaning out Bobbi’s suburban townhouse around the time Pat was granted co-guardianship of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s health and medical decisions.

Extra TV reported that Pat and Cissy Houston want to move Bobbi to her home so she can be “surrounded by beautiful photos of her mom.” The gossip show further quoted the family as stating, “It’s as good as it gets in such a bad situation.”

Bobby Brown, on the other hand, wants his daughter to stay in the rehabilitation center. Several doctors have told various media outlets that Bobby Kristina needs constant physical therapy. Dr. Mark Liker, a Medical Director and Neurosurgeon at Dignity Health Nothridge hospital, stressed to an Extra reporter that Bobbi needs the regular therapy so her body doesn’t “go into permanent contraction.” The expert who hasn’t personally treated Bobbi added, it’s important to continue therapy to provide frequent impulses from the leg to the brain in order to trigger some response. The movement will also help prevent blood clots and infections.

It stands to reason that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s best chances for recovery are in rehab, where she is constantly monitored and has therapists on hand. Moving her home would most likely mean having to hire help and trust that she was getting 24-hour care in her delicate state. No wonder Bobby Brown wants to keep Bobbi in rehab.

Bobby has no monetary motivation in letting Bobbi go. Pat and Cissy Houston, who have both been very vocal about being “ready” to say goodbye to Bobbi Kristina, do as they stand to gain whatever is left of the $20 million inheritance Whitney Houston left her daughter. Neither Pat nor Cissy got a dime from Whitney’s will after she left her all her money to Bobbi Kristina. Maybe some bitter feelings are making it easier for the Houstons to accept Bobbi Kristina’s death?

Nick Gordon has also resurfaced in the middle of the war to remove Bobbi from the Atlanta rehab center. After pulling a stunt with Dr. Phil and entering rehab, Nick has returned to seeking visitation rights. Gordon’s lawyer, Randy Kessler, issued this statement, “Despite his strong desire to see Bobbi Kristina, Nick has respected the families’ wishes for over three months and has refrained from visiting or from pursuing access to her through the courts.”

Randy goes further underlines the PR crafted report, “He has asked through counsel many times privately and now asks both the Browns and the Houstons, please let him see her.” The legal battle for visitation will be in whether or not Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina Brown are actually married. Bobby Brown’s attorney claims the two are not actually legally married. Bobby also reportedly offered Gordon visitation rights provided he give a detailed account of what happened to Bobbi Kristina in writing.

Who do you think will win this battle? Will Pat and Cissy Houston get their way and move Bobbi Kristina Brown home? If Bobbi is moved home, will she have a better chance at recovery? Sound off in the comment section.
