Bobbi Kristina Brown: Bobby Brown Refuses Pat and Cissy Houston's Demand to End Life Support, Transfers Daughter to Rehab

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, remains in a medically-induced coma after being found unconscious in her bathtub on January, 31. Since there’s been no real change in her condition, Bobbi Kristina Brown was moved to an Atlanta rehab facility for long-term care on life support. It seems there’s nothing more doctors can do for Bobbi Kristina, but Bobby Brown refuses to accept it.

The move to the rehab facility most likely means the hospital wants to make room for a patient that has a chance for recovery. There are a limited number of beds at Emory University Hospital, which has one of the top neurological units in the country. By moving Bobbi Kristina to a rehab facility, it will free up more space for someone with a better prognosis. The care at Emory also comes with a hefty price tag so it makes sense for Pat and Cissy Houston encourage Bobby to move Bobbi Kristina. It appears Bobbi Kristina is really just being monitored at this poin since no treatment to improve her condition is possible.

TMZ is reporting that Bobbi Kristina underwent a tracheotomy to prepare her for the switch to the new facility. The procedure moved Bobbi Kristina’s breathing tube to her neck to prevent infections. It was an obvious sign that Bobbi Kristina wasn’t expected to improve in the foreseeable future, or ever. When doctors tried to bring Bobbi Kristina out of a medically-induced coma, she reportedly suffered violent seizures that forced her back on drugs. Doctors tried one last time to bring Bobbi Kristina out of the coma before she was transferred on Thursday, but the attempt was unsuccessful. It seems hope is fading for Bobbi Kristina with each passing day.

Despite Bobbi Kristina’s unresponsive state, Bobby Brown has been adamant that he wants to keep his daughter alive by any means necessary. The rumors say the Browns and Houstons led by Pat and Cissy have been feuding over when to take Bobbi Kristina off life support. Word has it that Whitney Houston’s mother, Cissy Houston, and her sister-in-law, Pat Houston, have been pressing Bobby Brown to pull the plug. Whitney Houston left Bobbi Kristina a $20 million inheritance, which could have the Houstons pushing for ending her life support sooner rather than later. However, Bobby Brown has the final say on how long Bobbi Kristina stays hooked up. For now, it seems Bobby will keep watching and waiting.
