Bobbi Kristina Brown: Nick Gordon Rehab Stint For Drugs and Suicide Attempt Dr. Phil - Ploy For Sympathy?

Nick Gordon has been at the center of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s criminal investigation since she ended up drowning in a bathtub, and cops are still considering Nick a prime suspect in their case. We already know that Nick and Bobbi got into a physical altercation hours before she drowned in a bathtub, and there is evidence that Nick allegedly cleaned up any and all evidence of said fight before the ambulance and authorities got there.

Now, Nick Gordon claims that he’s cooperating with the police and that he’s innocent, but his actions certainly don’t reflect that, do they? According to TMZ, Nick Gordon recently sat down with Dr. Phil for an interview – or at least, what he thought would be an interview. Instead, it was reportedly an intervention organized by Nick’s mother and Dr. Phil. His mother has reportedly complained about Nick going into deep depression, and during the ‘interview’, Nick allegedly complained about wanting to kill himself and commit suicide if Bobbi Kristina Brown didn’t come out of the coma. And according to TMZ, Nick Gordon has now agreed to check into rehab after coming to terms with his drug addiction and his depression.

Obviously, we could choose to believe him – it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he would be contemplating suicide if his ‘wife’ never wakes up, but we’re thinking there’s also another scenario at play here. Right now, Nick is still a suspect in the police’s criminal investigation, and at the end of the day, he could easily be guilty. If the authorities come to that conclusion, Nick could use drugs as an excuse for his behavior – especially if he’s in rehab and can prove that he wasn’t in a stable state of mind when he and Bobbi fought.

What do you guys think? Is Nick Gordon in the throes of a severe drug addiction, or is he just using rehab as an excuse to avoid prison down the line? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
