Ever since Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in a tubful of water, Nick Gordon has been suspected of foul play and even attempted murder in his wife’s alleged drowning. First, Max Lomas, the friend who found Bobbi Kristina unconscious, pointed the finger at Nick. Then, several members of the Brown family made their suspicions known. Now it seems Nick Gordon’s own mother could be helping the case against him.
According to Us Weekly, Nick’s mom, Michelle Gordon, made several comments about what happened the night before Bobbi Kristina’s incident. In an intervention on “The Dr. Phil Show,” Michelle said Nick and Bobbi Kristina Brown partied on January 30 and returned in the early morning hours of January 31. Nick got into an argument with Bobbi Kristina after they arrived at their Georgia home. That’s when Michelle Gordon said Nick “went to another bedroom to fall asleep” while Bobbi Kristina “went up to her room and drew a bath.”
It seems rather odd that Nick’s mom would be spewing out such intimate details on national television. Whether she means to or not, Michelle Gordon is making her son look extremely guilty. When you consider the fact that Bobbi Kristina had bruises and a bloodied mouth when she was discovered, it certainly sounds like their verbal spat led to physical violence. As for the rest of the story, how do we know that Bobbi Kristina was even alive when that bathtub was filled up? The “accidental drowning” may have been a cover-up. We really can’t be sure what went down before paramedics arrived, especially since Nick allegedly cleaned up blood stains and cleared evidence from the scene.
Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Leolah Brown, recently blasted Nick for trying to use the televised intervention to spin the situation in his favor, but it doesn’t look like the Browns had much to worry about. Nick is looking guiltier by the second. The interview with Dr. Phil revealed that Nick’s addiction to drugs and alcohol has gotten much worse since Bobbi Kristina’s incident. Michelle said that Nick has tried to kill himself twice since Bobbi Kristina was placed in a medically-induced coma. “He has blamed himself for the condition she’s in,” Michelle said. If details like this continue to emerge, you can bet that police will blame Nick, too. We’ll let you know if any assault or murder charges are filed against Nick Gordon.
What do you think about Michelle Gordon’s comments on “The Dr. Phil Show”? Does Michelle really think she’s helping Nick’s case? Does Nick’s story sound suspicious to you? Is Nick Gordon feeling guilty about Bobbi Kristina’s condition because he’s the one who caused it?
