Dancing With the Stars 2015 Recap 5/4/15 Season 20 Episode 8 "America's Choice"

Tonight on ABC Dancing With The Stars 2015 airs with an all new Monday May 4, season 20 episode 8 and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode the eighth week of performances feature two dances per couple: the first contain elements decided by fans, and the second are trio dances.

On the last episode, of “Dancing with the Stars” the seven remaining couples performed an iconic number from a different time period on “Era’s Night.” Dance styles included Modern Charleston, Contemporary, Argentine Tango and a futuristic Jazz number. The couple with the highest overall score of the night was granted immunity from elimination. The remaining couples then competed in a dance-off to earn extra judges’ points in an effort to increase their overall score. At the end of the night, one couple was sent home. Did you watch the last season finale? If you missed it, we have a full and detailed recap right here for you.

On tonight’s episode as per the ABC synopsis, “the six remaining couples on “Dancing with the Stars” will dance to a song and dance style voted on by viewers for America has creative control of the couples’ first dance, asking fans throughout the week via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for their input on wardrobe, set design and visual effects. Each couple will perform two full routines including an individual original dance and a trio dance. For the trio dance, couples had the opportunity to pick an eliminated pro or troupe member to enhance their performance and highlight the strengths of each star. The trio dance styles include the Jive, Paso Doble, Samba and Salsa. At the end of the night, two couples will be eliminated at the end of the night and four couples will move on to the semi-finals.”
