“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Friday, July 17, reveal that Chad (Billy Flynn) will learn Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) reason for pushing him towards Abigail (Kate Mansi). DOOL viewers know that Chad acted like a jerk to make sure there was no chance Stefano could get Abigail under his evil grasp. However, Chad may find that Stefano’s intentions weren’t so sinister after all. Of course, Stefano could be lying to make Chad reconsider going after Abigail. If that’s the case, it sounds like Stef’s plan will work. “Days” spoilers for next week say Chad will decide to beg Abigail’s forgiveness and confess his love for her.
Chad may not be the only one getting updates on Stefano’s scheme. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that someone will discover a surprising secret. There are plenty of secrets floating around on DOOL right now, but it makes sense that Stefano’s might be the one to get out. Clyde (James Read) recently bugged the DiMera Mansion and that means he could easily listen in on Stefano’s confidential conversation.
There are also some rumors hinting that Clyde could become aware of Abigail’s pregnancy soon. That would give Clyde the upper hand in the paternity situation. Clyde definitely wants Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) to be the father of this child and his money can make that happen. There’s a good possibility that we’ll see a DNA test result swap due to Stefano or Clyde at some point.
Elsewhere, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will have heartfelt chat with Abigail about her baby. Abigail is overcome with worry and despair. In fact, Abigail might even feel like the only way out of this is terminating her pregnancy. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Hope will try to convince Abigail not to make a decision she could regret down the road. It seems Hope will live up to her namesake and truly give Abigail hope for the future.
Meanwhile, a Salem couple will look back on the past. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Justin (Wally Kurth) and Adrienne (Judi Evans) will take a stroll down memory lane as they prepare to sign their divorce papers. It will likely be a bittersweet experience, but they should be old pros by now. This isn’t Justin and Adrienne’s first rodeo when it comes to divorcing. Still, these two will have to deal with a lot of pain in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to the NBC soap to see if they’ll find a way to move on.
