RECAP:

Tonight’s episode of Devious Maids kicks off with Carmen at the Stafford House, she asks Taylor where Blanca is. Taylor lies and says that she quit and took off in the middle of the night, Carmen asks Taylor if Blanca left a dress. Taylor says that she cleaned out her room and she didn’t even leave a note. Carmen is shocked – she can’t believe that Carmen would leave town without returning the dress that she let her borrow.

Rosie meets up with Ernesto, Spence drops her off. He offers to come talk to him with her but Rosie says that Spence has “done enough.” Rosie sits down with her not-so-dead husband Ernesto, she tells him that Miguel is doing good – and she shares a photo of their son with him. Ernesto wants Rosie to tell Miguel the truth, that he is alive. Rosie cries that his partner said that he was dead – Ernesto states the obvious and said that they lied to her, he was working with the cartel and got locked away. Rosie cries that she built a new life because she thought he was dead. Rosie holds his hand and says that she is glad that he is alive, Spence watches form the car and is not happy.

Genevieve is lecturing Zoila in the kitchen, she orders her “not to let herself go” because Javier dumped her and left. Genevieve says that she has good news, she is turning the guest room in to a nursery so that Zoila can live with her and she won’t have to raise the baby alone. Genevieve receives a phone call from her doctor – she needs to come in to his office ASAP. She hangs up and is worried, Zoila promises that she will come with her to the appointment.

After her meeting with Ernesto, Rosie reassures Spence that she is not leaving him for Ernesto. Spence wants him to go back home to Mexico. Rosie says that he will probably leave after tomorrow – she is going to let him see Miguel.

At Carmen’s house Sebastian is trying to talk to her, she doesn’t want to hear it though. She tells Sebastian that she doesn’t even want him in the house, he is too tempting to her and she doesn’t want to have sex with him again. He offers to take her out a romantic date at a super fancy restaurant, Carmen agrees to go as long as he orders her the most expensive things on the menu and he doesn’t expect her to have sex with him afterwards.

Marisol calls Gail to see how Jesse is doing. Gail reassures her that Jesse is doing just fine and she loves his work – she just mailed a check for his first week of work. Jesse tells Gail that there is an emergency – she rushes off the phone and over to the flowers that he is weeding. He found a human hand in her rose bed.

At the Stafford house Michael makes a mysterious phone call and tells someone that he needs to talk to them about his wife. He finds one of Katie’s dolls lying on the floor, he takes it in to Katie’s room and then asks her about what happened while he was away on business. Katie says that her mom did have a friend over while she was supposed to be sleeping, it was a man.

Marisol learns that Blanca quit her job and left in the middle of the night, she calls her phone but it goes straight to voicemail. Jesse barges in and says that they need to talk – apparently Gail told him to take the hand and dump it in the Powell’s yard since they already found a leg at their house. He brought the hand to Marisol’s house in a plastic bag and asks her what he should do with it.

Zoila and Genevieve head to her doctor’s appointment. The doctor reveals that there is nothing wrong with Genevieve, he actually called her in because he is falling in love with her and wants her to go out on a date with him.

Rosie meets up with Ernesto and breaks the news to him that she is with Spence now. She says that she “chooses Spence.” Ernesto says that he will try to respect her wishes. He wants her to be happy. But he wants to take Miguel back to Mexico with him; he already missed too much of his life and he wants to get to know him.

Genevieve heads home and tells Zoila that Dr. Christopher is coming to their house for dinner – Genevieve says that she is falling for her doctor. Zoila thinks that it is “creepy” that her doctor has professed his love for her and she thinks that Genevieve should slow down and not rush in to it. Genevieve says she isn’t rushing – and then she sends Zoila to the store to pick up champagne and condoms.

Michael confronts his wife Taylor and accuses her of having an affair – Taylor says that isn’t true, she just has been really busy with Katie. Taylor insists that the only person that was at the house was the Thai food delivery guy. Michael warns her that she better not be lying.

Marisol marches in to Gail’s book club and interrupts. She hands the bag with the hand on it to Gail and tells her that she knows she tried to get Jesse to get rid of the hand. She can’t be tampering with evidence like that. Marisol gives the hand back to Gail and tells her she needs to call the cops ASAP. Afterwards, Jesse goes back to Marisol’s office and says that he needs a new job. Apparently, Gail fired him for ratting her out about the hand.
Rosie admits to Spence that Ernesto wants to take Miguel home with him. She would never let her son go to another country without her, but Rosie thinks that she and Spence should move to Mexico so that Miguel can be closer to her father. Spence rants that this is all part of Miguel’s plan – he is just trying to guilt Rosie in to moving back home. Miguel is standing around the corner and listens to the entire conversation.

Sebastian arrives to pick up Carmen for their date. He says that he has to cancel because his wife Jacqueline had something come up. Carmen is not happy, Sebastian notices Carmen’s new expensive shoes and she brags that Adrian bought them for her and is going to pay her to walk on his back with the heels on because it turns him on. Sebastian is furious. He doesn’t want Carmen to do anything for the Powell’s except clean their house. Carmen reminds him that they aren’t together, and she can do whatever she wants.

The next day, Rosie and Spence meet with Ernesto. Spence and Rosie promise to help Ernesto get his visa extended to stay in America so that he can get to know Miguel. That way they won’t have to shuffle Miguel back and forth between two countries. Ernesto agrees to “give it a try,” and Rosie reassures him that they will all be one big happy family.

Marisol calls Taylor Stafford. She asks her if she knows what happened with Blanca. Taylor says she has no idea, but she knew that Blanca wasn’t going to be dependable. Gail gets called down to the police station. They ID’d the hand that was found in her garden – it belongs to Louie Becker, a guy from her country club. Meanwhile, Michael is at the country club, looking for his friend Louie – he has no idea that he is dead. Taylor tells the police captain that Louie always had a “thing for the ladies, especially the ones with money.” She tells the police that Genevieve and Louie had a messy break-up and there was money involved. The police head straight to her house to question her…
