On the last episode, Carmen gets creative when her new boss invited her on a double date; Zoila got in the middle of Genevieve and her new boyfriend; Marisol discovered a new side of Jesse; Rosie and Ernesto disagreed about her working at the Stappord home; Taylor struggled to deal with the aftermath of the latest police discovery. RECAP:
Tonight’s episode of Devious Maids kicks off with Adrian home from the hospital – Evelyn is being nauseatingly nice to him. He says it is creeping him out and he demands to know what she is up to. Evelyn says she got him a gift while he was in the hospital, she heads to the kitchen and bring back a little boy – Evelyn announces that he is their new son Deion.
Carmen heads out to lunch with Rosie and Zoila, she fills them in on Sebastian’s wife Jacklyn kissing her. Zoila doesn’t believe it, so Carmen shows her how Jacklyn kissed her on Rosie. Zoila says that she needs to talk to Sebastian and see what he thinks about his wife’s surprise kiss. Marisol is at Taylor Stafford’s house, trying to get the low down on why Michael left her.
Adrian and Evelyn are bickering over their new son Deion. Adrian doesn’t understand how she got a child so fast – she confesses that they are just fostering Deion, and it is a “lease to own situation like their Lexus.” Adrian rants that they are too old to be raising a little boy. Evelyn thinks it is because Deion is black, and she points out that for all they know he could be the next Obama.
At Genevieve’s house Zoila is arguing with Dr. Christopher, she is upset because he keeps messing with the kitchen and sanitizing it. Christopher reminds Zoila that he lives there with Genevieve now – so Zoilz works for him too now.
Taylor confronts Rosie, she says that since Michael is gone she is going to need more help with her daughter. Rosie says it is no problem because her son Miguel loves playing with her and they kids are “so cute together.” Rosie starts to make Miguel’s bed and is shocked to find nude magazines under his pillow.
Carmen heads to Jacklyn’s office, while she is waiting to talk to Jacklyn – she sees Jaklyn kiss her assistant James. Carmen laughs it off and realizes that Jacklyn kisses everyone. But, then Jacklyn confuses her and confesses that she is attracted to Carmen and she thinks that they shared a moment and they should “explore it further.” Carmen leaves and tells Sebastian that his wife is trying to seduce her. Sebastian thinks it is a great idea – he tells Carmen to meet up with Jacklyn, and then he will walk in on them so that he can catch Jacklyn cheating and get out of the pre-nup. Carmen thinks it is a horrible idea, but she agrees to seduce Jacklyn so that Sebastian can get a divorce.
Rosie visits Spencer – she is surprised to see that Spence is doing wonderful without her, he booked a new commercial and he hasn’t been drinking. Rosie whines that Ernesto is in Mexico, and she needs a man to talk to Miguel about his porno magazines. Rosie says that Spence needs to learn to respect women for their “brains and not their boobies.” Spence agrees to talk to Miguel, and Rosie thanks him for all for all of his help.
Marisol is trying to find Jesse a job, she takes his resume to the country club. The manager announces that she will not be rehiring Jesse any time soon. Apparently Jesse already worked at the country club and he had an “unpleasant encounter” with Louie Becker (the man that was recently found murdered) so they fired him a few months ago. The manager refuses to tell Marisol what exactly happened between Louie and Jesse, but she makes it clear that whatever it was, wasn’t good. Marisol heads out to lunch with the other girls and fills them in on Jesse and Louie Becker. Zoila thinks that Jesse is suspicious, and he might be crazy from being in the war. They remind her that Jesse has been violent before – Rosie thinks that Jesse might have PTSD.
Adrian is trying to scare Deion off, and make him want to move out of their house. He heads in to Deion’s room to tuck him in to bed, and he casually mentions the maid that was murdered at their house and the chopped off leg that they found in their flower garden. The next day Evelyn finds Deion hiding – he informs her that he doesn’t want to live here anymore.
Zoila heads downstairs to get to work – and she finds a woman in a maid’s outfit cleaning the house. She demands to know who the hell she is, she casually introduces herself to Zoila as the maid Joy. Christopher and Genevieve come home, Zoila is furious that he brought his own maid from his old house to work there. Genevieve cries to Zoila that Joy doesn’t mean anything to her, but she gets the job done – and Zoila is too pregnant to clean the big house by herself.
Evelyn is livid – she screams at Adrian that Deion is a wonderful boy and he needs to open up his heart to him. Adrian reminds Evelyn that he already had a son, and he gave him all of his love and then he was gone. He tells Evelyn that he can’t go through that again. She understands, she misses their son too – but he wouldn’t want them to be miserable the rest of their lives. Evelyn says that Deion is joining their family – whether Adrian wants to keep being a part of it or not.
Jesse comes home and Marisol is in his kitchen cooking – she asks him to run to the organic market 40 minutes away for some chicken. While he is away she begins rifling through his apartment and snooping around through his desk.
Carmen heads to Jacklyn’s house to seduce her, while they are having a glass of wine Jacklyn says that she doesn’t even feel guilty because she knows that Sebastian is having an affair and cheating on her. Meanwhile, Sebastian texts Carmen and says that he is stuck in traffic and asks her to stall. Jacklyn can tell that Carmen is distracted – she thinks that Carmen is nervous about being with a woman. Jacklyn raves about how much she likes Carmen, and says that she admires her for her honesty. Carmen has a guilty conscious, she tells Jacklyn that she “can’t do it” and being with a women feels wrong to her.
At Jesse’s apartment, Marisol finds a gun in a box under his bed. Jesse walks in and catches Marisol and demands to know what she is doing – she pulls his own gun on him. Jesse explains that he just bought the gun, because he found the hand and he was nervous – he wanted to be able to protect her. Marisol asks what happened to Louie, Jesse says that they got in a fight in the club because Louis was getting handsy with some girls. Marisol backs down and hands the gun over to Jesse. He shouts at her that her ex-boyfriends have made her crazy, and then he kicks her out of his apartment.
Sebastian heads home and finds Jakclyn alone, she explains that Carmen already left. Sebastian heads in to the bathroom and calls Carmen’s cell phone – but she left it lying on the couch next to Jacklyn. She picks up Carmen’s phone and is shocked to see that is who her husband has been calling.
Miguel takes Spence’s advice on girls and tries to kiss Katie. Rosie catches them and is furious – she storms over to Spence’s apartment, she shouts at him that if Ernesto was here, this never would have happened. Spence reminds Rosie that she ripped his heart out his chest – and it’s not his responsibility to be a better father than Ernesto. He shouts that he is not okay – he is a wreck. Rosie rushed out the door. Spence heads back in to his bedroom, where Taylor is waiting for him, apparently she has been sleeping with Spence all along.
