RECAP:

Ethan wants to go home on tonight’s episode and its making him moody every time he’s denied. It seems Ethan knows that John has passed away but Julie continues to lie to him when she says his mother is not equipped at the moment to take care of him. Because while it’s true that Molly is not fine, she could be doing a whole lot better if her son was returned to her. And if there wasn’t a secret government working to lock her up for the rest of her life.

Though, surprisingly, things are looking up. Detective JD Richter got Molly out on a two day leave from the center in order to get her help on a case. And as long as she proves helpful, then he’ll keep her around.

Yet the problem with such an agreement is that JD needed to hear the truth but was skeptical when Molly first started to talk about aliens.

JD didn’t believe in little green men. And he thought all of her talk about alien pregnancies could have been the reason she needed “rest” at the center. JD was going to return Molly when she managed to knock him out. Molly had in fact drugged him to stop him from bringing her back.

She spoke to the dead’s girl OB/GYN and all of her theories were panning out to her but not to her partner. And later when they found out there was another pregnant woman out there, Molly tried to warn this woman that if she didn’t terminate her pregnancy then it could kill her. So by that point JD felt like a line had been crossed.

Molly had no other choice. She had to drug JD and find that woman again. For only Molly knows how scared Zoe is. And Zoe is scared. Her pregnancy is messing with her head just like Molly’s messed with her’s. Though Molly at least realized what was going on. Zoe on the other hand just doesn’t want her husband to find out the baby isn’t his.

Meanwhile back at the lab, Julie finally created a Humanic for her new bosses. It looks like she continued to use few of John’s old blueprints for such a thing because Lucy was created in Molly’s image but, unlike Ethan, Lucy learned right from wrong thanks to an algorithm. And so far that has its own drawbacks.

Lucy hurt Charlies after a loud sound (caused by a moody Ethan) made her forget her strength. So, technically, Lucy was a work in progress.

And Julie saw that. She promised her superior, a cold-hearted woman by the name of Anna, that she could fix Lucy so that the Humanic could never hurt anyone again. But, sadly, she was informed by Anna that the board has changed their mind.

They don’t want to her to fix Lucy. They actually want Julie to make her even stronger. Stronger and faster so that Lucy she could survive out in the field. And Julie agreed to do this if meant she could keep Ethan.

But Charlie didn’t sign on to make a weapon and he wasn’t going to stick around while Julie took orders. So he told her he was going to step away from the project. And from Ethan if he had to.

Only Ethan found out that he was never going to see his mom again and that Charlie was going to go as well. Thus, he felt like he had nothing left and tried to kill himself.

He raised his body’s temperature to dangerous levels and was going to destroy his central core when Charlie and Julie stopped him. They assured him that no matter what he would always have them. And to drive home that point, they promised they would both stay on.

Though, as for Molly, it was her other son that ended up grabbing her attention.

The man that is meeting woman for one-night-stands is in fact her son. The same son that she was told had died but that was never reported as getting up perfectly fine at the morgue. So later, after Zoe had died, Molly used the information the young woman gave her to go track this man down. And that’s how she was found talking to her son at the exact moment a drone had been sent after him.
