Check out these “General Hospital” spoilers for the Wednesday July 29 episode. It’s midweek madness in Port Charles! Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) bangs on Denise DeMuccio/Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) door and tells her about Franco’s (Roger Howarth) death threats against him over their carnal activities. Ava has to get Morgan to back down since she needs Franco to get the evidence from Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) so she can safely re-emerge as herself.
The confrontation with Morgan turns into nookie. That’s all fun and games until someone drops by and Ava and Morgan get caught in the act. Who could it be? Is it Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) dropping by to say goodbye on her way to the Hamptons? Nah. That’s too easy. More likely it’s Silas Clay (Michael Easton), but what is he doing dropping by? Franco, of course.
Earlier, Silas went to Scotty’s office to confess to kidnapping baby Avery so that Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) won’t get in trouble. Instead of finding Scotty, he finds Franco who was trying to break into his dad’s desk to steal Ava’s evidence. Franco asks Silas if he’s there to confess to kidnapping Avery and framing Nina. Ironically, that’s exactly what Silas was doing.
Franco will take this chance to let Silas know that Ava and Morgan are banging which will set Silas off and that’s why he heads over to confront Ava. Instead Silas finds them shagging and he’s ready to explode. Expect more threats to ensue against both Ava and Morgan. Will Silas reveal to Morgan that Denise is Ava? Or will Silas see them and storm out to brood over what to do?
And buoyed over her conversation with Denise, Nina goes to dump rat fink hubby Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). But of course Ric can’t let that happen since he wants the money – plus Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) would kill him. Ric comes up with a bunch of excuses for why she needs him. Ric will say he’s getting her money back, she needs him in case the cops come after her for the kidnapping, etc.
Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) tells Jake Doe (Billy Miller) that he thinks that Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) knows his true identity. That makes sense to Jake who tells Mikey that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) was going to tell him his identity when she was shot. Then they talk about Hayden and Nik having a relationship – will they go and demand answers?
Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) also has Jake on the brain but it’s little Jake Spencer (James Nigbor). She tells Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) she’s happy that little Jake is alive but is thinking about how awful it is that Jason is not alive to get to know either of his sons. Patrick comforts her but may have something more serious on his mind. And does Patrick suspect yet that Jake is Jason?
Also, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) chats up Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Will Laura blab to Jason’s two best BFFs that Jake is Jason? Aside from Sam, Sonny and Carly are the two people this would mean the most to. And then Sonny’s organization is hit again. That’s not good news but those three will escape harm.
