Tonight’s episode of Hell’s Kitchen kicks off with the Red Team and Blue Team heading upstairs after Bret is eliminated – Nick stays up all night drinking wine and laughing with T about how much he hated Bret and is happy to see him gone. The next morning the Red Team and Bue Team head down to the kitchen and find tanks with alligators, iguanas, snakes, and rats – and they are still alive! Chef Ramsay explains that in some countries rodents and reptiles are considered delicacies. The chefs all squirm and squeal when Chef Ramsay has fake rubber snakes dumped on them.

Now, it is time for their first challenge. Chef Ramsay will be handing out proteins for the chefs to cook. Mandy and Christine are cooking with ostrich. MIlly, T, and Michelle will be cooking alligator. The remaining chefs will be cooking wild boar and elk. Now, they have 40 minutes in the kitchen to cook their rare meats to Chef Ramsay’s standards.

Everyone begins rushing through the kitchens and preparing their unusual meats. They are provided with over 100 ingredients that they can use to accompany their meats. Randy decides to grind up the ostrich meat and make ostrich burgers. Michelle rushes around the kitchen in a frenzy because she has never even touched alligator meat and has no idea what to do with it.

Their 40 minutes are up and then Chef Ramsay informs the Red Team that since Michelle and T both made alligator, they have to choose which plate to present. Michelle’s feelings are hurt when they choose T’s alligator tacos over her’s. Chef Ramsay introduces his guest judges and the judging begins. Nick presents his elk and the judges say that it is “really bland,” and only give him a 6. Allison’s elk is more of a hit with the judges and she scores an 8. Up next is the seared boar, Meghan scores an 8 and Josh’s boar scores a 7. Milly’s alligator scores a 9, and T’s alligator tacos score an 11. The ostrich is the last dish to be judged, Randy’s ostrich burger scores a 12 and Christina scores a bleak 6. The Blue Team wins by just one point, and the Red Team loses.

After the competition Chef Ramsay asks to taste Michelle’s alligator curry that her team wouldn’t use in the competition – they are blown away and tell Michelle that it is the best dish of the night and they would have all given her a 5. Chef Ramsay announces that the Blue Team will spend the day at a hip spa as a reward for winning the competition, the blue team will be staying behind and cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom – he warns them they might find some reptiles hiding out. The Red Team gets to work cleaning the kitchen while Michelle grumbles that they should have chose her alligator dish over T’s. Meanwhile, the Blue Team arrives at the spa and puts on their robes and get facials and deep-tissue massages. Randy isn’t exactly thrilled – he has never been to a spa before and he is not a fan.

After the kitchen is clean and the Blue Team returns from the spa Chef Ramsay announces that they are going to have to do their individual evaluations in his office tonight. T is up first – she gushes to Chef Ramsay that she is doing everything for her daughter at home Tamara. Chef Ramsay tells her that overall she just needs to be more focused and more vocal with her team – he wants T to step up more in the kitchen as a leader. Randy is up next, he explains to Chef Ramsay that he is a die-hard Hell’s Kitchen fan and he even used to watch the show on VHS when he was in Iraq. Chef Ramsay tells Randy that he needs to step it up – they aren’t running a food line in the army they are a professional kitchen.

During Michelle’s evaluation Chef Ramsay tells her that he is disappointed that she didn’t fight for her own alligator dish during the competition. He also tells Allison that she needs to be more aggressive in the kitchen as well, Christine is thrilled with her evaluation and raves that Chef Ramsay gave her the boost of confidence that she needed. Josh is the final contestant to head down to Chef Ramsay’s office for his consultation – he tells Josh that he needs to be more “driven and hungry” when he is working in the kitchen.

After their evaluations Chef Ramsay meets the Red Team and the Blue Team in the kitchen – he reveals that during their evaluations he had each chef rank their fellow teammates from the best Chef to the worst Chef. The lowest ranking member of the Blue Team and Red Team will be facing off together in the kitchen, and the loser will be going home.

Chef Ramsay reveals that the two weakest chefs in the competition are Christine and Randy – they will compete against each other to determine which one of them will be sent home tonight. They have 30 minutes to go make 3 dishes: lobster risotto, halibut, and bread pudding. The clock starts and Christine and Randy rush to separate kitchens to begin cooking while their teammates stand by on the sidelines and cheer them on. Christine seems to be off to a great start and already has her pudding in the oven – meanwhile in the Blue Kitchen Randy is running around like a mad man and doesn’t seem to be making much progress.

Randy and Christine’s time is up and they present their three dishes to Chef Ramsay. Chef Ramsay raves over Christine’s halibut, but her bread pudding is dry and she forgot the cocktail sauce. Randy is up next, Chef Ramsay gushes that his risotto is perfect – but he messed up the plating on the halibut and garnishes. Randy’s bread pudding is also a flop.

After the competition Chef Ramsay announces that he has decided to eliminate Christine and send her home – Randy is safe for another week.
