Kate Middleton and Prince William Marriage Trouble: Harrow Visit Next - Queen Elizabeth Demands Joint PR Appearances?

Has Queen Elizabeth demanded that the Kate Middleton and Prince William appear in public together more often in order to save face on yet another fractured royal marriage? As rumors of marriage trouble spread, Kate Middleton was forced to return to her public duties after maternity leave – she and Prince William appear to have many joint public appearances on their calendars – looks like a PR campaign to many royal watchers.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend a conference for World Mental Health Day at Harrow College on October 10 – will there be more of the same staged lovey-dovey moments that photographers caught at the Rugby World Cup? What’s going on here?

More and more time out together in public, more public displays of affection – this just screams of similarity to the forced united public front Prince Charles and Princess Diana put on before they were finally allowed to call it quits and end their sham of a marriage.

Prince William didn’t seem interested at all in anything Kate had to say or do when they attended the World Rugby Cup last month. The Duchess plastered a smile on her face the entire time – and whenever the cameras were around she tried engaging her hubby in some chit-chat or a tender moment or two. But Wills wasn’t giving in to Kate’s attempts at showing off for the world – he’s sick and tired of pretending there are no cracks in his marriage. Let’s not forget – the Duke of Cambridge watched his parents go through nearly the exact same thing.

In November 2012 Royal watchers around the globe thought that there was finally a love match for an heir to the British throne when Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement after nearly 10 years – off and on – together. But now it seems there are severe cracks in this fairytale.

After watching William’s less than enthusiastic reception of the Duchess of Cambridge’s attempts at public displays of affection many are reminded of the photos showing a VERY uncomfortable Prince and Princess of Wales on their last official trip together in November 1992. British Prime Minister John Major made the announcement on December 9, 1992 that the Prince Charles and Princess Diana had decided to separate.

Queen Elizabeth has endured more divorces in the Royal family than she probably cares to admit – starting with her sister Princess Margaret’s scandalous divorce from Anthony Armstrong-Jones, Lord Snowdon. Three of her four children have divorced – Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Is the monarch pressuring Kate and Wills to keep it together? Can the Royal family take yet another hit with a disastrous failed marriage – another divorced heir to the British throne? Come back to CDL for all your Royal family updates and other celebrity news, rumors and gossip.
