Kate Middleton’s marriage troubles and isolation may have ended thanks to Queen Elizabeth’s intervention, but the Duchess of Cambridge still fears Isabella Calthorpe, Prince William’s first choice for a wife. Whispers from royal sources claim Kate is pushing Prince Harry on Chelsy Davy to prevent his relationship with Cressida Bonas from developing.
It’s no secret Prince William wanted to marry Isabella Calthorpe, Cressida’s half-sister. William infamously split with Waity Katie to purse his first real love, Isabella. After Calthorpe informed Wills she was interested him, but not the royal lifestyle, Prince William returned to Kate Middleton. The Middleton family and the Duchess won’t forget that fact, and sees Cressida Bonas as a link to Isabella Calthorpe that will undoubtedly tempt Prince William into a cheating scandal.
As CDL reported in April of last year, Prince Harry was just days away from announcing their engagement, but Kate reportedly informed Cressida of the “struggles” of marrying royalty which caused Bonas to end the relationship. Now, Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry are back together and Princess Kate is being supportive of the couple’s relationship. According to The Sun, Chelsy and Prince Harry met up while the royal was in Africa promoting wildlife conservation.
Kate is returning to her royal duties after a 4 month long maternity leave, but the Duchess of Cambridge still trying to keep control of Prince William and save their crumbling marriage. Kate and William seemed to be headed for another separation, but Queen Elizabeth intervened, summoning the two to Balmoral castle for a private meeting. After the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with the Queen, it was announced Kate Middleton would finally be ending her 4 month maternity leave.
Prince Harry is due to return home soon, and you can bet Kate wants to ensure any links to Isabella Calthrope are cut off during this fragile time in her marriage to Prince William. The Duchess is likely doing her best to support Harry and Chelsy’s on-again-off-again relationship, pushing Prince Harry to marry Davy and end the opportunity for Cressida Bonas to bring Isabella back into their lives. However, Kate might want to focus on convincing Davy to marry Harry. According to People, Chelsy Davy is wary of marrying Prince Harry, a royal insider reveled, “She’s her own woman. She’s very sporty and feisty. But she doesn’t like being mucked around.”
