Kate Middleton Plan To Induce Labor: Prince William Sends Snacks To Fans Outside St Mary's Hospital, Lindo Wing

Kate Middleton is now more than a week past her due date, which means that everyone working in the Kensington press office is probably losing their ever loving minds. There were rumors alleging that the royals would put pressure on Kate and Prince William to induce the baby now, but we’re now hearing from different sources that Kate and William still want to wait and see if the process begins naturally.

So yes, Kate Middleton is more than a week overdue and there are fans camped outside Lindo Wing in St. Mary’s hospital. But from what we’re hearing, Kate and William are planning to wait at least one more day, and then start inducing labor on Wednesday. I mean, we’ve already heard [via US Weekly] that Kate and William have sent snacks to fans waiting outside the Lindo Wing. Why do that when they’re planning to induce right away? But if they know – or they think they know – that Kate is going to go into birth on Wednesday, then buying the fans snacks makes complete sense. It’s a thank you for waiting around, but it’s also a way to keep the fans going another day.

Man, this royal baby is going to arrive to so much fan fare, no? Nothing compares to Prince George’s momentous arrival, but at the same time, he came on time and with minimal fuss. Royal baby #2 doesn’t seem inclined to come out right now, and even though inducing has become a common practice in hospitals, I can understand why Kate and William – and their doctors – want to wait before resorting to that.

What do you guys think about Kate Middleton and Prince William sending snacks to their fans camped outside of Lindo Wing? Do you think they will induce labor on Wednesday? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
