Kate Middleton and Prince William are fighting to save Princess Diana’s secrets. Thanks to the ever-meddling Camilla Parker-Bowles, a DNA test and love letter scandal have rocked the image of the late Lady Diana, and the Duke and Duchess are making quiet efforts to keep the royal secrets and keep the memory of Princess Di from being further tarnished.
It’s been 18 years since Princess Diana was killed in questionable car crash in France. However, her memory is still strong and still creates interest in the royals. Unfortunately for Camilla Parker-Bowles, the mere memory of Diana still overshadows the Duchess of Cornwall. While the public, generally speaking, has accepted Camilla, Diana is still has the people’s hearts.
Camilla Parker-Bowles is no shrinking violet, and knows Princess Diana isn’t as pure and innocent as people like to remember her. Perhaps that is another reason why Camilla demanded Prince Charles have a paternity test done on Prince Harry.
As CDL reported, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry got into a screaming match after Harry defended Kate. After their fight, Camilla insisted Harry take a paternity test because Prince Charles believes James Hewitt, Princess Diana’s former lover, is Prince Harry’s biological father.
Conveniently enough, James Hewitt was recently caught selling love letters Princes Diana had written him during their affair in the mid-1980s. The Mail on Sunday broke the news with a front page story on James’ betrayal of Diana. The letters are a reminder that Princess Diana also had affairs and Camilla undoubtedly loves to point that out. It’s hardly a surprise the Camilla is jumping all over the James Hewitt and Princess Diana love letter scandal.
Much to Camilla’s chagrin, Kate Middleton and Prince William won’t stand for it. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have already planned to fight back, saving Princess Diana’s secrets and outshining the love letter scandal.
The royal couple are reportedly planning on visiting the Taj Mahal. It seems innocent enough, but Kate and William are making a point to visit the very bench Princess Diana once sat on for a photo that became an iconic image of her isolation and marriage troubles. There, the Duke and Duchess plan to honor Diana’s memory.
If the royal couple do visit the spot of Princess Diana’s lonely pilgrimage to the tomb, you can bet the image will be plastered everywhere. Whatever Camilla cooks up, Prince Harry paternity tests or whatever bullet she has in her belt, won’t be enough to overshadow a show of unity between Kate and William on the very spot Diana made her first public stand for herself.
