Those in the know at Buckingham Palace revealed to GLOBE January 4 edition that Queen Elizabeth was no longer amused by Duchess Kate’s “college co-ed tresses. The same insiders divulge that Queen Elizabeth is generally pleased with Princess Kate’s fashion choices, but told the future Queen that her hairstyle needed a mature and regal update.
Duchess Kate was more than pleased to comply with Queen Elizabeth’s wishes!
The Duchess of Cambridge’s new look has women worldwide, including Princess Sofia of Sweden, asking their hairstylists for the “Katie-Do.” The hairstyle is quickly becoming the most emulated coiffure since the “Lady Di” in 1981 – and Princess Diana’s subsequent hairdos throughout the princess’s short life.

Queen Elizabeth, according to GLOBE, is dying and has unequivocally “decided to skip over son Prince Charles and place grandson Prince William on the Throne.” Duchess Kate’s new hairdo is supposedly the second step in Queen Elizabeth’s plan to show the public that the Cambridge’s have matured and ready to rule.
For Parker-Bowels this is just another “stake through the heart.” The most recent stab was Queen Elizabeth allowing the Duchess of Cambridge to wear the Cambridge Lover’s Knot –aka the Princess Diana tiara – to the Diplomatic Reception. Sources reveal that Queen Elizabeth considered the most glitzy soiree of the year as Duchess Kate’s first “official outing as the new Queen.”
Cambridge Lover’s Knot, a more regal hairstyle – it will take more than that for Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall to be passed over as the next King and Queen. But there’s always the possibility that Queen Elizabeth can make that happen – and Kate Middleton wants to ensure she has done everything possible to be Queen instead of Camilla Parker-Bowles.
