Tonight on Bravo, Married to Medicine returns with an all new Sunday, July 5 season 3 episode 4 called, “Friends Don’t Do Background Checks on Friends.” We’ve got you recap down below! On tonight’s episode, hoping to move past the background check, Quad calls Lisa Nicole for an in-person meeting in hopes of teaching her a lesson in the art of friendship.
On the last episode, trying to find the root of her anger, Jackie helped Simone understand how her dad’s past transgressions were still affecting her life. As the ladies gather to celebrate Lisa Nicole and Heavenly’s magazine cover, Simone came face to face with Toya for the first time since their disagreement. Meanwhile, following a successful meeting with the private investigator, Quad received all the information she needed to finally give Lisa Nicole a taste of her own medicine. On tonight’s episode as per the Bravo synopsis “hoping to move past the background check, Quad calls Lisa Nicole for an in-person meeting in hopes of teaching her a lesson in the art of friendship. Things take an unexpected turn when Quad makes a startling accusation which leaves Lisa Nicole reeling. Meanwhile, Heavenly prepares for a date with her hubby and enlists her daughter, Alaura’s help for some serious fashion guidance. Jackie hits the ground running and kicks off her new fitness program, “Fit Is the New It.” However, it is hard to concentrate on getting fit as word reaches the circle of friends about Quad and Lisa’s unexpected encounter.”

RECAP:
#Married2Med starts with Jackie talking about her new plan for Fit Is the New it. Lisa Nicole is at her store going over directions and is happy with her weekend sales. Quad decides to call Lisa and try to make things better between them. She asks Lisa to come out to eat and to hash things out and Lisa agrees. She’s happy that they can try and be mature adults about this.
Toya and Eugene are getting ready to work out. He’s not happy with his workout clothes then they talk about how they both used to be heavier then lost weight but he gained all of his back. He says he’ll try harder. Heavenly and Damon are getting ready for date night and Alaura wants to pick out her clothes because she doesn’t like her moms tastes. She caves in and Alaura picks out a skin tight dress.
Simone lectures her boys on the importance of academics then the delivery truck pulls up to drop off her new Maserati. She tells them you can have rapper level swagger from being a good student. But Cecil isn’t happy he didn’t discuss this with him first and she says he would have wanted to research everything and make her test drive other stuff and she just wanted to buy it because it was sexy.
Heavenly and Damon talk over dinner and she wants to be a relationship expert. She went online and got certified. She says she wants to help people have a love like they have but he thinks she has no time for this. They bicker and she thinks he’s not respecting her. Lisa gets ready to go out with Quad and tells Darren she’s stressed. She asks him to come with her in case it goes badly since she thinks Quad is a bully. Quad is hoping for an apology from Lisa or else.
Lisa shows up and Quad says again she didn’t like the background check thing. Lisa says it was just business but Quad says they’re not in business together. Quad tells her because she pushed, she ran a background check on her too. Lisa says she has nothing to hide. She says she was arrested for assaulting Darren. Lisa says it was dismissed and happened 10 years ago. Then Quad brings up Alayma, some woman Darren was cheating with who may have a child out of wedlock.
Lisa then throws a glass of water in Quad’s face and says she had a lesbian relationship with Mariah. Quad says she just ruined her career then they start grappling physically. Darren shows up and separates them. A producer pulls Quad away. Lisa threatens to sue her for slandering her. It’s time for the first weigh in for Fit is the New It. Jackie and Al have healthy and junk food set out too. Jackie has pizza and soda out there but also healthy stuff.
Jackie’s patients arrive then Toya and Eugene. Heavenly shows up too. Eugene says she doesn’t know how to motivate them and they decide to eat some junk food. Heavenly thinks Jackie looks like a boy and needs curves. Simone and Cecil are there and she creates Toya pleasantly. Heavenly tells her she can’t be out all damn night. Quad is running late because she’s at the police department. She says she’s filing charges against Lisa who hit in her the face with a glass and cut her.
Quad says she was talking crazy, threw water on her then she threw a glass. Jackie thinks it’s bad for their husbands are having their wives out acting like this when they are prominent in the community. Jackie says they’re going to go on without her and end the call. She Simone says she’s starting a new program called Sit Is the New It and Cecil says he’ll sign up. Heavenly says her man likes her weight and all she has.
Lisa tells Darren she cried all night over what happened. She regrets throwing water in her face but says she was so angry. Lisa says she did get mad at Darren for talking with some woman and she threw something at him and he called the cops. She says she went to anger management and the charges were dismissed. Then she says what set her off was Quad talking about Alayma and an illegitimate child. Lisa says he did a one night stand with the chick who turned up pregnant.
She says Darren took the paternity test and the kid wasn’t his. She says they decided to stay together and work on their marriage. That was 10 years ago. Lisa says she forgave him. Lisa thinks someone in their camp is leaking info to Quad and says she was being malicious and karma is a bitch that’s coming for Quad.
