Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban may have been having issues in their marriage, but according to recent reports, they have managed to halt a possible divorce by renewing their vows. A report from Naughty Gossip states that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have renewed their marriage vows, and apparently, it’s even made a difference in how they speak about each other.
In a rare show of exuberant public affection, Keith told fans at a Q&A session at Country Radio Seminar in Nashville [on Friday], “I have a lot of people who help me … starting with my wife, who is extraordinary at keeping everything sort of scheduled and balanced. Let’s get the cheesy quote out of the way, right? The moment right now is a gift, and that’s why they call it the present. But it’s so true … The only thing that’s real is right now.”
Clearly, renewing their marriage vows helped – for now. From all we’d been hearing, Nicole and Keith were on the verge of getting a divorce a few months ago, especially since they were reportedly fighting all the time. The reasons for their rumored fights ranged from distance, time apart, career woes, Nicole’s plastic surgery, and both Keith and Nicole allegedly cheating on each other. However, whatever their problems were, this marriage renewal thing probably put at least a temporary stop to it.
However, I will point out that whenever celebrities get their vows renewed, it’s almost ALWAYS because they’re having marriage issues. I mean, why get your vows renewed otherwise? Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon did this very same thing, and look at where they’re at now – divorced and publicly fighting over the settlement.
