Rob Kardashian has been rushed to the hospital with undiagnosed diabetes after not feeling well for several days. It turns out the exiled reality star is suffering from diabetes. Will this be the wake up call Rob needs in order to get his life back on track?
TMZ broke news that Rob is suffering from diabetes after a trip to the hospital on Tuesday, December 29. Kardashian complained that he wasn’t feeling well all weekend and kept feeling progressively worse instead of better. Imagine Rob’s shock to learn that he is now diabetic and will be forced to watch his diet from this point forward.
Rob Kardashian is reportedly in stable condition but remains hospitalized. Certainly the self-exiled KUWTK star will get some food counseling now that he’s being forced to take better care of himself. We can only imagine that Rob isn’t looking forward to Kris Jenner and his sisters coming to the rescue when he just wants to be left alone.
The Kardashian-Jenner family has been very worried about Rob Kardashian’s health and now it looks like they had plenty of good reason. Rob’s diabetes diagnosis is a complete nightmare for the family.
Even though the Kardashians have been on Rob’s case to get healthy, the diabetes diagnosis came as a complete surprise to the whole Kardashian-Jenner family.
Kris Jenner revealed months ago that Rob had gained more than 100 pounds since his exit from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The whole family has been worried about Rob’s battle with depression and weight gain.
Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian have been the most vocal about wanting their brother to get healthy.
Rob Kardashian has made light of his much bigger frame and horrible eating habits up until recently. Now it looks like Rob will have to admit his family was right and some new healthy habits are literally just what the doctor ordered.
Will Rob survive the Kardashian-Jenner ambush that is coming? Certainly several family members will be putting their two-cents in on how Rob Kardashian should deal with his current health crisis.
Don’t be too surprised if Kris Jenner starts working on a deal to publicize Rob Kardashian’s road to recovery and all the Kardashian-Jenner family will likely become advocates for a diabetes cure.
Update: Rob was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes so he can typically get by without insulin injections. Rob was in a state of ketoacidosis when he arrived at hospital, a condition from which diabetic coma can result. The good news for Rob is that diet and exercise, along with a variety of excellent oral medications, can usually completely control this condition – the bad news is that a regimen of sloth, recreational drugs, and rich excessive diet accompanied by Type 2 Diabetes will lead to health disaster!
