Is Rumer Willis getting married to Val Chmerkovskiy? Rumer arrived at Dancing With The Stars rehearsal on Thursday May 7 and was photographed wearing what appeared to be a gold wedding band on her left hand. Of course, rumors began flying around the Internet that she received the wedding ring from her Dancing With The Stars partner Val Chmerkovskiy – and that is probably exactly what Rumer wanted everyone to think. But, we can assure all of you Val did not secretly marry Rumer or propose to her, he won’t even date her!
Season 20 of Dancing With The Stars is winding down and Rumer and Val will compete in the semi-finals on Monday May 11, so they can use all of the extra publicity they can get – and a mysterious wedding band seems to be doing the trick. Rumer and Val have had undeniable chemistry on Dancing With The Stars this season, and have been flirting on and off the dance floor, but much to Rumer’s dismay it was all for publicity and Val is not interested in her at all.
Insiders say that Rumer has a huge crush on Val – but he has taken her aside on more than one occasion and reminded her that they are not really in a relationship, and all the flirting he is doing with her is just to bring in votes. We wouldn’t put it past Rumer to take her showmance with Val to the next level and wear a faux wedding ring to make DWTS fans think that their fake relationship is getting more serious. Or, perhaps Rumer Willis is just trying to make Val Chmerkovskiy jealous and think there is another man in her life – hoping that it will make him finally take her seriously and want to be more than just her dance partner.
