Selena Gomez’s diet is reportedly an intense one, and the “Good For You” singer is shedding pounds left and right. In April Selena stepped out in a bikini in Mexico, and revealed a shocking weight gain – she proudly flaunted her new curves and tried to brush off all of the haters and fat-shamers on social media. Although Selena insisted that she loved “loved her new body” and even wrote on social media that she was “comfortable in her skin,” it looks like the fat-shamers got to her because the singer has been dieting like a mad woman and has lost 20 pounds in just 3 weeks!
Selena Gomez was out and about this month and nearly unrecognizable, not only did she lose all of the weight that she recently gained, but she appears thinner than we have saw her in years! Generally when someone loses that much weight that quickly, it is cause for concern – but according to a report in the July 13 edition of Life & Style, Selena is just eating healthy and doing a ton of cardio.
An insider dished to Life & Style Magazine, “Selena has given herself a thin-ervention. She is doing cardio twice a day and she has cut out all food deliveries to her house. She is so committed that the weight has just been falling off. No more burgers, fries, and shakes. Now it is just fresh fruit, greens, and fish.”
We’re all for eating healthy and working out, but to be honest we kind of like the “I don’t care what you say about me, and I’ll eat Twinkies if I want to,” attitude that Selena was rocking. Now, it seems like she basically caved in to the fat-shamers and let them win by going on a diet, and shedding her newfound curves. What do you guys think?
