Sinead O’Connor Suicide Note: Singer Threatens Death On Facebook

Sinead O’Connor threatened to commit suicide in a note she posted to Facebook on Sunday, November 29. In the disturbing letter, Sinead claims that her closest family members have betrayed the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer and says no one would even miss the singer if she was to die. It is pretty obvious that the Irish singer is suffering from severe depression and possibly more. Thankfully, Irish law enforcement officials have verified that Sinead was found alive and is receiving medical attention in the wake of her disturbing suicide note.

O’Connor seems to be unraveling all at once and is airing all the sordid details on Facebook. For three solid days, Sinead made a string of pleas for a for a place to live, a family lawyer to help fight for her minor children and then finally a goodbye since none of her family seem to have reacted

Based on Sinead O’Connor’s alarming Facebook posts over the three day period, it looks like she has lost custody of her two youngest children, Shane, 11, and Yeshua, 8. Sinead claims that her sons’ fathers and her 28-year-old son Jake are preventing O’Connor access to her children and that the separation is driving her mad.

Sinead admits she is currently battling depression and claims in several of the Facebook posts that her current mental state is due to her family abandoning the singer in August as she underwent a full hysterectomy. O’Connor wrote, “I’ve had my womb and ovaries chopped out and my child is frighteningly sick. I’m such a rotten horrible mother and Person, that I’ve been alone. Howling crying for weeks. And been told by them all (to) go f*** myself.”

Sinead O’Connor warned that she was not at home and had overdosed on pills because she just couldn’t take the stress of losing custody of her children. Instead, Sinead claimed to be staying in a hotel under a fake name so that no one could find her. Sinead also wrote that she had taken an overdose, although it’s unclear exactly what she took or when and how much. O’Connor recounted when a former lover, John Waters (the Irish journalist, not the filmmaker), tried to take custody of their now-adult daughter Roisin Waters. In her Facebook letter, Sinead said, “I survived it when John waters did it.. I can’t survive Jake doing it.”

Well, Sinead did survive the supposed overdose attempt and is currently receiving medical treatment. It is pretty obvious that the one-hit wonder needs some serious attention paid to her current mental state and if she isn’t receiving adequate support from her family, hopefully O’Connor can get that help from medical professionals.
