On #Survivor at Nagarote, Shirin is upset that her ally Max is gone. She talks to Carolyn who tells her that she was Max’s puppet and never gave her the time of day. Shirin is worried she’s completely on her own. She wonders if it’s her personality (hint: yes) and if she can change. Hali tells Shirin that Max was really annoying and that they were talking and she is too. Shirin says this reminds her of the mean girls picking on her in high school.

Dan is telling the newcomers about how he lost his undies and now is wearing a banana hammock. Rodney is annoyed with the crap he’s already heard and tells Joaquin they need to stick together. Dan says he was looking for a #Bromance. Rodney tells Joaquin that Mike never misses church and is celibate and doesn’t drink. Joaquin is horrified. He and Rodney bond over this piece of gossip. Rodney and Joaquin make an East Coast alliance to work together.

It’s time for a #RewardChallenge. Jeff says they have to race up a tower and through some obstacles then have to launch sandbags at targets a distance away. They have to be first to hit all six targets to get a trip to a turtle sanctuary to see them migrate back to the beach where they will lay eggs. They will also get comfort foods like mac n cheese and beef stew. Escameca sits out Dan. The teams are ready and then off. Stage one is up a rickety ladder. Then across a rope bridge then up a rope ladder thing.

Nagarote is falling behind. Escameca starts launching with Rodney. He misses the target. Jenn heads up for Nagarote. Rodney falls short again and Jenn hits one. Kelly goes up next for Nagarote. Rodney keeps shooting and finally hits one. Joaquin goes up next. Kelly lands one and it’s 2-1 Nagarote. Joaquin misses. Hali goes up for Nagarote and misses. Joaquin ties it up and Sierra launches and hits on her first shot to put Escameca in the lead.

Mike goes up for Escameca and Haley gives up. Escameca lands their fourth. Carolyn hits her target. Shirin is up for Nagarote and hits it to tie it up 4-4. Will is up for Nagarote and it’s tied again at 5-5. Tyler shoots for Escameca and misses. Jenn shots for Nagarote and hits it. They win reward. Jeff tells them to have a fun evening and sends Escameca away empty handed. Shirin hopes the reward will be a chance to bond with her tribe.

Nagarote sits down near the beach to enjoy their feast. They are all happy as a tribe then are taken down by a guide to see the turtles. They see them digging holes to drop their eggs and the guide says they lay more than a 100 eggs but maybe one will survive to get to the ocean. Joaquin talks with Sierra when Dan, Mike and Rodney go for water. She chats him up and he says that Joe is strong so they don’t want him at the merge. She says she doesn’t like Rodney and says he’s a loose cannon.

Joaquin says they need four. Sierra isn’t happy with the old team and says he’s tight with Tyler so they need a fourth. He pushes Rodney on it and she says he’s awful and doesn’t know if she can play the game with him. Rodney comes over and asks if Sierra is still mad at him. They talk about keeping this from Mike and Dan. Rodney thinks he’s in control of this game and says he can see himself winning this whole thing.

Rodney then goes and tells Mike that he can influence Joaquin and says they should throw a challenge to vote out Joe before the merge. They think they can put the game on lock for the numbers. In private, Mike says it rarely works out to throw a challenge but thinks this may be a special situation since his alliance is with Kelly on the other tribe. He also says throwing a challenge will keep her safe from Tribal. It’s time for the #ImmunityChallenge.

The challenge today is a memory test of items in order. They have to look at a set of items then run over and use a set of items to recreate it. Escameca sits out Joaquin. After they see it, one can hit a lever and obscure the view from both of them which can make it harder. Carolyn beats Rodney easily. Next is Sierra and Hali. Jeff shows the stuff and they both drop at the same time and it’s a race to finish. Hali is done then Sierra. Hali gets it right and it’s 2-0 Nagarote.

Now it’s Joe versus Will. Joe slaps the cover down and runs off. It’s his chance to keep Escameca alive. Joe is done first. Joe gets it right and that makes it 2-1. Shirin vs Dan is next. Dan pulls the lever and they run back. Dan is done first then Shirin. Dan ties it up 2-2. Mike is up next against Kelly. Will he throw it deliberately? Kelly drops the curtain first while Mike lags. He finishes first and is wrong. Kelly is also wrong. They face off again.

Mike whispers and says he’s giving this to her. They run back and reset. Mike is done first. Mike is wrong again and Dan slaps his hand on his head. Kelly is also wrong. Jeff drops it down to five items to make it easier. They run back and Mike says he’s going to swap his two bottles. He tells her to look at his but swap the bottles. She does and Mike is on his mat first. Mike messes up and Kelly gets it right which makes Nagarote safe from Tribal.

Back at Escameca, Mike says he’s sorry and says he wishes Joaquin had gone instead of him. He says he just choked. In private, Mike says a little part of him died by throwing it plus he’s not trusting Rodney because he’s hanging tight with Joaquin and says that makes them a power couple and power couples have to be split up. Rodney and Mike agree to vote out Joe. Rodney says Mike looked like an idiot which was perfect. Joaquin says Sierra owes him.

Mike then goes and tells Dan that he doesn’t trust Rodney and says they’re after Joe. Mike tells Joe and Dan that Sierra will go with them to vote how they want. Mike says they can add Sierra and send Joaquin home. Dan has also pissed off Sierra and says he needs to bring her back in the fold. Dan tells Sierra he screwed up and wants her trust back. Mike is there too and they ask her to vote with them against Joaquin. She’s got both sides trying to get her to swing vote.

Dan says as soon as they hit Joaquin, Rodney will blow up. Dan tells Sierra to close her mouth and open her ears and she is annoyed but says nothing. In private, she says she hates him. She can choose to swing to vote out Joe or Joaquin. They head to #TribalCouncil. Jeff says they have four blue, two white and one no collar. Joe says the blue seemed happy but he says there are fueds and cracks in that group. Tyler says there was a lot of bad blood around Sierra.

She says the blue collars all picked on her except for Mike who told them to stop. She says she has felt much more appreciated from the new guys. Rodney says everything changes when you drop your buffs and Joaquin says people just come up and tell him why they hate each other, that makes it easier. Sierra says her issues are the personal attacks. Jeff calls for the vote. We see Joaquin vote for Joe and Joe for Joaquin. Jeff calls for any hidden immunity idols.

Jeff reads the votes: Joe, Joaquin, Joe, Joaquin, Joe, Joaquin. The last vote sends home Joaquin. It’s another #Blindside. Rodney is utterly perplexed. Sierra looks smug. Joe looks relieved. Mike looks not shocked at all. Jeff says there are cracks in their tribe and they will progress by repairing or exploiting those cracks. Joaquin says he was totally blindsided and doesn’t know who did this to him.

THE END!
