Daphne has been handing romantic advice on tonight’s episode of “Switched at Birth” and so it was only fair that her relationship was just as much in trouble as everyone else’s.

Bay had been figuring out her feelings for Travis’s friend Garrett and so she talked it over with Daphne and Travis. She told them that she didn’t feel like she could have a relationship with Garrett and that he was already giving the signals that he wanted something “more”. So what Bay needed was for someone to tell her it was ok to have sex and not be in a relationship. And though Travis advised her to use caution before jumping into something she wasn’t ready for, Daphne had at least appeared more supportive. She told Bay that she and Mingo started out as a casual hook-up and then they became something more.

And Bay followed her advice. She tried to be casual about sex and yet couldn’t sleep with Garrett when the time arrived. Though she didn’t think it was because of Tank. If anything Bay was actually left feeling like a novice compared to Garrett.

He had all these flavored condoms and he was willing to show her his latest STD test results. And it was all too much for Bay. She wasn’t used to that kind of information and it also made her feel nervous about sleeping with someone who was clearly a lot more experienced than she was.

So Bay left Garrett’s place and she was trying to work up the courage to eventually pick up where she left off. But then Travis did something. He talked to Garrett behind her back and he told the other man about Tank. And so when Bay later ran into Garrett, he told her it was alright if she wasn’t ready for sex yet.

As for Daphne, she was still texting Quinn in Mexico and pretty much everyone around her had figured out that something was up with her behavior.

Yet Daphne kept on pretending that nothing was wrong and she was focusing on her upcoming presentation in one of her classes. Only her interpreter ended up having a problem with his girlfriend who also happened to be Daphne’s partner on the project. So Daphne once again found herself offering advice.

She found Josh after he had stormed out of one meeting and demanded to know why he was taking out his frustrations with his girlfriend. And he told her that he had feelings for someone else. Thus that kind of resonated with Daphne but she and Mingo tried to guess who Josh was interested in and came up with the wrong answer.

They thought Josh had a thing for Daphne when the truth was he had a thing for Mingo. The guys had gone out for drinks and, while he was inebriated, Josh kissed Mingo. So that’s the reason he’s been arguing with his girlfriend. He’s just now realizing he’s interested in guys and he didn’t know how to tell his girlfriend.

And so Daphne comforted him following the kiss. She offered her support in any way she could and took his advice as well when he said she shouldn’t risk her relationship with Mingo over the texting guy. Mingo has come a long way for her and Josh didn’t think Daphne should ignore that.

So Daphne eventually sent out her last text to Quinn. She told him not to contact her anymore seeing as it was unfair to her boyfriend.

And in happier news, Toby and Lily found out they were having a boy!

But as for Bay, she finally had the talk that she didn’t want with Garrett and Garrett turned out to be a lot more understanding than she thought. He said he liked her and that he would never want to push her into anything. So they’re going to see how things go.

Much like Regina and Eric. Eric came to forgave Regina for tracking down his ex and lately he’s been helping John find new businesses to invest in. With the most recent idea being a gentlemen’s club otherwise known as an upscale strip club.

Kathryn hadn’t liked the idea but after seeing the strip club for herself – it made her realized that there was a market for fitness clubs featuring a combination of pole dancing and ballet. So last we saw him, John was trying to figure out a polite way to say “no way in hell” to his wife.

And in the end Bay found a new model that was willing to sit for one of her portraits – Eric’s ex-wife. It seems she’s in town and that cannot be a coincidence.

THE END!
