“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, October 2, tease that some gripping Y&R drama is headed your way. The long-awaited reveal of Gabriel’s (Justin Hartley) identity is about to arrive. On Thursday’s episode, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) flies into a rage after learning that—surprise, surprise—Adam’s (Justin Hartley) been lying to her again.
Adam’s latest lie is a real shocker. Y&R viewers know that Adam has been scheming with Ian (Ray Wise) to bring down Victor (Eric Braeden). However, the Paragon Project is now the least of Adam’s problems. Chelsea intends to expose Adam for the ruthless liar that he is and even threatens that he will pay for Delia’s death!
Of course, Chelsea won’t be the only one spilling secrets. Friday’s preview video shows Ian Ward dropping a major bomb on Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Ian will swear that Adam Newman is alive and he’s been working with him.
At first, Phyllis will probably think Ian is just concocting a crazy story. After all, almost everyone in Genoa City believes Adam is dead. Only Chelsea, Jack (Peter Bergman), Marisa (Sofia Pernas) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) know Adam has been masquerading as Gabriel. Nevertheless, Chelsea will likely back up Ian’s statement and clue Phyllis in on the charade.
At Fairview, Patty (Stacy Haiduk) will continue trying to become best buds with Sharon (Sharon Case). Patty will admit she thought Sharon was lying about her pregnancy, but she realizes she was mistaken. Apparently, Patty will believe anything. Y&R rumors hint that Patty and Sharon could begin working together in some sort of scheme. Sharon would be wise to proceed with caution. If Patty is involved, this can’t end well.
Over at Newman Enterprises, Victor will give Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) a stern lecture. Perhaps Victor feels like they haven’t been focused on battling the Paragon threat or have underestimated its severity.
Victoria will insist that they’re here for him now, but that won’t be good enough for Victor. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Victor will shout that his company is being brought down to its knees. It’s easy to see that Victor is not happy about the Paragon Project. When Victor learns that his own son is alive and behind the plot, Adam had better watch out – of course that’s if The Moustache doesn’t cop a heart attack at the news! Of course there is one pregnant lady who might suffer consequences as great or greater than guilty Adam Newman as Gabe’s identity is revealed. Yes, you guessed it – Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan)! Of course Sage might not be a Newman for long once Nick gets wind that his hated brother lives!
