“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that trouble may be brewing between Sage Warner [Kelly Sullivan] and Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow]. Sage has put a wall between herself and her husband, Nick.
Sage she refuses to let him in to grieve with her. Instead, she seems drawn to Adam Newman [Justin Hartley]. In fact, he is the only person she has been pleasant with lately.
Sage is in a world of pain – she just lost her son [or so she thinks] and feels like everything she loved is gone. Her marriage to Nick isn’t the fairytale she envisioned and she wonders if she can stick it out with him for the long haul.
Sage feels broken after losing her son, Christian. A few months ago, she told Billy Abbott [Burgess Jenkins] that she was unable to have children. The fact she could get pregnant was a miracle.
Sage feels like her one shot at being a mother is gone, and she is not only grieving her son’s death but her dreams of being a mother. Sage never had a family of her own.
Then the moment she finally gets a normal life, psycho doctor Dr. Anderson [Elizabeth Bogush] steals her only child. Sage is not handling her grief well and is snapping at everyone who comes in contact with her.
On Tuesday’s episode, Sage snapped at Faith for wanting to spend time with her mother, Sharon [Sharon Case]. It appeared that her lashing out at Faith [Alyvia Alyn Lind] troubled Nick about her mental status.
Nick wonders if he can trust her alone with his young daughter. The fact is Nick is not one to stick by his wife through better or worse. The Newman heir typically makes a run for it the moment, he senses there could be trouble in his marriage.
So far, Nick has been pretty supportive of Sage. However, how long will it last? “The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Nick will call Dr. A for an individual therapy session, and she will imply that he is better off without Sage.
He starts to wonder if they have a salvageable marriage, and he contemplates divorce. Sage isn’t making it easy for Nick, either with her constant lashing out at him, Mariah [Camryn Grimes], Faith, and Victoria [Amelia Heinle].
Will Nick decide that they aren’t connecting anymore, and decide to end his three-month- marriage to Sage? Do you think Nick will leave Sage if she doesn’t get a handle on her emotions?
