On tonight’s episode of “America’s Got Talent” twelve contestants compete for a chance to be one of the seven acts that continue on in the competition.

The first act to compete is dancing ensemble Flip whose fast-paced dance brought mixed reviews from the judges. Both Howie and Mel B. felt that some dancers were better than others and that there should have been one dancer who was the lead with the others as backups.

Singer Moya Angela belted out a power ballad next, receiving praise from Heidi and Howie but Mel B. was disappointed in her performance and Simon felt that her performances are too polite and reserved.

Juggler and interpretive dancer Viktor Kee was next to take the stage and his stunning and narrative-based juggling impressed the judges. Next up was twelve-year-old country music singer and guitarist Kadie Lynn. The judges loved her performance: Simon called the singer a “superstar” and his only criticism was that he wished she hadn’t used backup singers so that he could have gotten a more stripped down song where there wasn’t any competition for her voice.

The next performers to compete are gross-out stunt artists Ryan Stock and AmberLynn. Their kitschy 1950s inspired theme performance was off to a solid start until AmberLynn attempted to shoot a flaming arrow into the target sticking out of Ryan’s mouth and missed, hitting him in the neck with the fiery arrow. The judges were horrified that Ryan got hurt and insisted that he go immediately to see an EMT for medical evaluation.

The next performer to take the stage is Simon’s Golden Buzzer and cancer-survivor Calysta Bevier. The singer performed an uplifting and inspirational ballad that received a standing ovation from the judges and audience. Fourteen-year-old contortionist and Reba McEntire’s Golden Buzzer recipient Sofie Dossi performed next. Her latest act culminated in her shooting a flaming arrow with her feet while blindfolded and her daring received a standing ovation from the judges. The judges loved her showmanship and her incredible physical strength.Mentalist couple The Clairvoyants performed next with a routine involving jelly beans where the guessed the flavor and quantity of the candies selected by the judges and then revealed that they had written down the answers before the act even started. The judges were floored by their creepy premonitions and thrilled by their otherworldly skills.

The judges loved his style and smooth vocals.

Acrobatic stunt act Throwings performed next. They incorporated a move that resulted in a broken back of one of the performers the last time it was performed but the duo executed the stunt flawlessly this time. The judges thought the routine was breathtaking and were impressed by the daring and athleticism of the performers, although Simon felt that they needed to introduce a new element into their act.

Rubik’s cube magician Steven Brundage was eliminated in the last round but, due to an overwhelming social media outcry, he was brought back to compete again as a wild card contestant. His series of tricks wowed the judges and Howie admitted that he was wrong to not have voted for Steven the first time around. Tonight’s final act are the quick-change artists Sos and Victoria whose performance received divided reviews: the women still liked the act, but Simon said the two were annoying and Howie felt that the performance was not their best.
