Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will do his best to woo Hope (Kristian Alfonso) while they’re on their getaway. At the Green Mountain Lodge, they’ll get settled in for a few romantic nights.
Things will start off pretty well for this duo. Aiden will turn on the charm and Hope will let her guard down slightly. DOOL spoilers indicate that Aiden will try to help Hope recall the bright spots of their love story.
He might bring up the time they did the waltz at the benefit or when they shared a dance at Edge of the Square. Hope can’t deny that she fell for Aiden once. Still, it’s clear that Aiden has always been a tad shady.
Hope has definitely faced doubts along the way. We can’t forget that Hope originally suspected Aiden killed his first wife. Meredith’s death was ruled a suicide, but Aiden later admitted that Chase (Jonathon McClendon) was responsible.
He supposedly grabbed a gun and accidently shot his mother as a toddler. Hope ultimately took Aiden’s word for that. We may never know if that’s what truly happened.
Now Hope is aware that Aiden was working for the DiMeras during their whole relationship. That’s certainly been a roadblock for this reunion. However, the biggest hurdle they’re facing may not be entirely Aiden’s fault.
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Hope will start to feel the love, but the mood will quickly fizzle thanks to memories of Aiden’s evil doppelganger. Hope will have flashbacks of her horrific wedding night.
She’ll always be haunted by the moment she unmasked Aiden and realized he was trying to strangle her. Even though that wasn’t really Aiden, she thought it was at the time.
Andre (Thaao Penghlis) found an identical lookalike, so Hope can’t help but associate Aiden with that brutal murder attempt. Of course, we shouldn’t feel sorry for Aiden. He plotted to kill Hope and even went downstairs to get the necktie.
Aiden only chickened out at the last second. Hope doesn’t know that little tidbit, but it’s sure to come out sooner or later. Most Days buzz suggests that Hope is actually putting Aiden to the test.
She wants to determine if she can trust him. In order to do that, Hope has to grow closer to Aiden. There’s a chance that true feelings could resurface, but it’ll be tough for Hope to put the attempted murder fiasco out of her mind.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Aiden will worry that their failed encounter could send Hope running back to Rafe (Galen Gering). He’ll text Andre for updates on his latest mission.
Andre plans on getting rid of Rafe for Aiden, but it may take some time. He’ll urge Aiden to be patient. Good things come to those who wait. Unfortunately, devious schemes also tend to blow up eventually.
