General Hospital (GH) spoilers fans and Port Charles residents are still reeling from the tragic death of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), and many feel there is plenty of blame to go around, most of which seems to be landing on the shoulders of Morgan’s father and mob boss, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
PCPD’s Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) blames his own father, and even promised him he would put him in prison for what he has done. Sonny’s own wife, Carly (Laura Wright) packed up her and her daughter, Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) belongings and moved back to her house without a second thought.
Now that Morgan’s funeral has happened, and Sonny verbally took responsibility for their son’s death; there is really nothing to hold Carly from remaining in town. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) came to Port Charles to help his ex-wife and daughter get through the funeral, but it looks like their time together will be longer than expected.
General Hospital spoilers have told us that Carly has admitted that she cannot do this, she cannot be in the same town as Sonny. She cannot stand the fact that she would run into him, or ever have to see him, so when Jax announces he is leaving, Carly decides to go with him. Carly does what she always does, and instead of facing her hardships head on, she runs until there is nowhere left to go.
Initially when they leave, Carly has no doubt in her mind that Sonny is responsible for Morgan’s death, but when Carly is away she overhears something she was never meant to hear; a secret that shakes her to her very core. She learns that the Jacks brothers were the ones responsible for the car bomb that killed Morgan.
It’s never been a secret about how much Jax and Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) hate Sonny Corinthos; there also was no denying how much Jax and Jerry both love Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), in their own ways, and there are countless reasons for why they would want Julian Jerome (William DeVry) dead, from business transactions to crime family business; but when Carly hears the truth, her life is completely in shambles.
General Hospital’s Carly has always been a tough woman, one who has been able to stand her ground against some of the toughest citizens in Port Charles, but how will she handle the irony of her situation? General Hospital spoilers predict that Carly flees Port Charles to escape seeing her husband, the man she believed murdered her son, only to end up in the arms of the actual killer.
