“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers tease that on this week’s episodes Jake Spencer (Hudson West) will have a very bad reaction to the news that art therapist Franco (Roger Howarth) has been cut out of his life by his parents. But really this is all down to Jason Morgan (Billy Miller).
Jason is being unreasonable about Franco, particularly since he didn’t have any memories of their past interactions when he banned Franco from his son’s life. Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) agreed with Jason but only because he was pushy with her.
But GH spoilers ask if Liz will soon push back? When Liz takes Jake to General Hospital for therapy and he finds out that it’s not with Franco, his reaction will be so extreme that it rattles Liz significantly. Liz will have to decide whether she’ll prioritize Jason’s wants or Jake’s obvious needs – and will side with her son.
General Hospital spoilers show us that Franco will walk up on Liz and Jake talking and overhear the child getting upset. What’s not clear is whether Franco or Liz will tell Jake that it was not their decision, but Jason’s, to cut off therapy. Would Franco do that to Jason?
The bottom line is that Franco has changed and Liz knows that even if Jason and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) don’t want to accept it. Also, Liz has seen firsthand how Franco has helped Jake and that will be the deciding factor for her as a mother.
Jason has been very preoccupied with Sam and so Liz has been doing the heavy lifting with Jake so she should make the call. Based on Jake’s reaction that startles her, Liz will cave and let Franco resume art therapy sessions with Jake.
However, Jason will not be happy about Liz’s decision and there’s little doubt a confrontation is brewing between Liz, Jason and Franco. All this will be aggravated when Franco and Liz continue to grow closer and help each other heal from their respective splits.
Franco will help Liz move on from Jason for good – and Liz will help Franco get past the inevitable truth that he and Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) are done since he won’t help her become a mother. By early June, GH spoilers tease that we’ll finally see Liz and Franco kiss.
Then Franco is ready to take the next step with Liz if she’s ready. Liz has some emotional moments coming in May sweeps as she finds out someone has a public humiliation planned for her. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is usually the one who carries out those kind of antics.
Will Carly come at Liz over her blossoming relationship with Franco? Does Carly plan to make a public mockery of Liz because she’s letting Franco help Jason’s son? Will Carly plan to humiliate Liz as a show of solidarity with Jason?
Will Franco shield Liz from the coming humiliation? Or will he be there to comfort her if it can’t be stopped? What do you think about a Liz-Franco pairing? Are they a good match despite what others might think about their relationship?
