New General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) is not only back to haunt Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) this week but it looks like he may torment Ava Jerome (Maura West) from beyond the grave thanks to some clues he left about his final days.
Morgan is likely to be recast soon, but for now everyone thinks he’s dead so a bunch of people are looking into his murder. The ineffective PCPD are investigating the bombing and have made a little progress, but it seems like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is making the most progress.
But Morgan’s parents also want answers. Both Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are feeling guilty about Morgan’s “death” and feel like they failed him as parents. Both Sonny and Carly blame Sonny for his death and they also want answers.
In coming days, someone in the family comes across a journal that Morgan kept hidden away and General Hospital spoilers tease this will offer some clues to Sonny and Carly. This journal could be the key to saving Sonny’s life since he’s pondering suicide over his tremendous guilt.
Could the journal and Morgan’s own words point Carly and Sonny towards Ava and reveal what she did. All the pieces are there if they can just put the clues together. Morgan likely wrote about how he was feeling as he was spiraling out. That’s the first big hint at what was happening.
Sonny knows how it feels to come off the mental meds for bipolar even though Morgan said he was taking his pills. If they bring in Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) to consult, he can probably tell them it sounds like Morgan was off his medication no matter what he said.
Another clue is that Morgan will not that he was taking his medication. He might have lied to his parents (except that they saw him taking his pills) but he would not lie in his personal journal. Ava took the bottle of tampered meds but someone else has them.
Even without those, there are more pills. Remember Morgan tossed his pill caddy into the busboy bin at The Floating Rib. Maybe someone salvaged them and they could be tested. Last, there is Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier). Twice she saw Ava where she should not be in Sonny’s house.
The first time was weeks before Morgan died and the second time was a couple of weeks after he “died.” The timing fits for before he went off the rails and then her behavior the last time was very suspicious. Sonny noticed it too. If Sonny talks to Nelle, the pieces might fall into place.
Most of this is circumstantial evidence, particularly if they don’t have the pills to test. But it’s enough to cast doubt on Ava’s innocence. She’s been acting strange and it’s not enough for her to say she cared about Morgan. Ava is haunted by guilt and it’s showing.

There’s also someone else out there with information and who will torment Ava. All of this is a race against time. It seems unlikely that Ava will get away with this. There may not be enough evidence for her to be arrested – but there should be enough to convince Sonny of her guilt.
That means her life could soon be in danger. What do you think GH fans? Are you excited for Sonny and Carly to discover Ava’s antics? Who will be first in line to choke her – Morgan’s mom or dad? Share your comments below on this coming drama.
