General Hospital (GH) spoilers are buzzing about the return of Nicholas Cassadine (formerly Tyler Christopher, most recently Nick Stabile). Now come on, you didn’t think the character of Nicholas was really gone. Nikolas is one of the undead to come back to haunt the GH cast. He is the rightful owner of Wyndemere and wants his humble domicile back in his hands He’s not going to let Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) cheat him out of his birthright.
So, after Nicholas falls to his supposed death at Wyndemere, he resurfaces on an airplane to London with Ava Jerome (Maura West) sitting right next to him. Oh stop, this is a soap, they can do anything they want. Then after both being kidnapped, they head to Cassadine Island to escape.
After being joined by Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan), Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and other family members, Valentin appears and forces Nicholas to sign over the Cassadine estate to him or he will kill Ava, big loss. Nicholas and Valentin scuffle and Nicholas is shot and stumbles off the balcony to his death. Once again, the family grieves the loss of Nicholas.
But Nicholas is coming back to surprise Valentin. If Valentin thinks he has problems now with the custody battle over Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) with Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) he’s in for a big surprise.
Valentin tries to stack his deck by marrying Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) to have a mother for Charlotte and to prove he is a stable family man. But soon he won’t even have a roof over his head for Charlotte to live in and tied to the wrong woman. Nina is not his true love, it’s Anna so it’s just a marriage of convenience.
Valentin’s head will be spinning when Nicholas appears at Wyndemere and he’s not going to knock on the door to enter. He appears out of nowhere, to everyone’s surprise. Valentin pulls his fanatical crazy act and comes apart and Nina gets to see what she has married. He’s raging and can’t be stopped.
Of course, Lulu is ecstatic to have her brother back to help in destroying the evil Cassadine and Laura Spencer, his mother, is ready to commit all her energy to help her children.
