General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Tom Baker (Don Harvey) is found dead after breaking out of his dog cage this week but the real question is, who killed the rapist? There are many possible candidates since the guy is a dirt bag of the worst sort. Here’s who may have done the deed and why.
Franco (Roger Howarth)
Franco is the most likely candidate since Tom raped Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco has made it clear he won’t have Liz at risk. All the evidence points to Franco since he knocked Tom out, locked him in the dog cage and has been alternating shocking him with the dog collar and spritzing him with water while telling him he’s a bad dog. But it’s not Franco although he’ll be arrested. The PCPD never gets the right man, so it won’t be any surprise when they make another bad arrest.
Heather Webber (Robin Mattson)
This is another great choice although Heather has nothing personal against Tom. Heather has a grudge against Franco for recording her confession for the cops on the attacks on Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). Heather doesn’t tolerate betrayal and Franco did her dirty. We know Heather can break out of Miscavige when she wants since she did it the night of the holiday gala. Heather might have done this to punish Franco knowing he’d be implicated.
Seth Baker (Michael Rodrick)
Just because his brother is a rapist doesn’t mean that Seth is also a bad dude, but he might be. It’s kind of creepy that Seth came to his brother’s rape victim looking for his brother. That implies that Seth knows Tom raped Liz – otherwise why come looking for her? That’s shady disgusting behavior. Perhaps Seth runs into Tom after he escaped and Seth decides his paroled brother is causing too much trouble and putting him at risk and they argue and then he kills him accidentally.
Jason Morgan (Billy Miller)
Jason says he’s against violence since he recovered his memories after coming back as Jake Doe. But we know that Jason still has the capacity for violence – he’s killed people to protect Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and others. Jason isn’t in love with Liz anymore but she’s still his baby mama and he knows how much pain her teen rape still causes her. Jason could have taken a break from his investigation to whack Tom and not even broken a sweat about it.
Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher)
Most GH fans agree that Nikolas is alive even though he’s not in Port Charles right now. If he found out that the man that tormented love of his life Emily Quartermaine (then-Amber Tamblyn) was out of jail, Nikolas would send someone to take care of the rapist. Nikolas was right there with Emily when she when she went through the horrors of Tom blackmailing her. Nikolas also cares about Liz and there’s the rape to consider, too. Nikolas knows assassins – he tried to have his wife killed – so this is plausible, too.
