Baby news for Katherine Heigl, ex-Izzie from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has just broken compliments of the actress herself and husband Josh Kelley. The actress confirmed that she’s pregnant and expecting a baby boy with hubby Josh, who is the lead singer of the band New Lane.
Katherine and Josh are already parents to adopted daughters Naleigh Moon, 7, and Adelaide Marie Hope, 4. The couple spoke exclusively with PEOPLE magazine about their happy baby news but both also shared their joy on their Instagram pages.
Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley told PEOPLE, “The Kelley clan is thrilled to announce that we are expecting a third addition to our family. Naleigh and Adelaide could not be more excited to welcome their new sibling into the fold and Josh and I are overflowing with joy and gratitude.”
The actress, who is scheduled to star in the new CBS legal drama ‘Doubt’ with Laverne Cox, took to Instagram on Thursday, June 23 to let fans in on the good news. “joshbkelleyHahaha!! Well I guess the cats out the bag!!!! We’re so excited people!!! What an awesome journey !!! Can’t wait to hold this little nugget.”
Fans offered congratulations to the happy couple who have been married for eight years. Katherine also shared that this pregnancy is “an incredibly exciting time for us filled with hope, anticipating, and hormones.”

Katherine and Josh’s little boy may arrive sometime around Christmas 2016. Reportedly, Katherine Heigl’s pregnancy will not affect her new show ‘Doubt.’ Although the CBS show begins production next month, showrunners plan to work around her pregnancy.
