Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Stevie J just scored an embarrassing new gig, he is the spokesperson for a line of ‘Period Panties’ at WalMart. Seriously, we couldn’t make this stuff up if we wanted to. Stevie J. and his on-again, off-again wife Joseline Hernandez have been surrounded by rumors that they are broke and desperate for cash for years.
Even at one point rumors pointed to alleged drug problems being the source of the cash flow woes.
Regardless, it looks like there is some truth to Stevie’s financial problems – and hey he’s got a ton of child support to pay, we can’t really knock his hustle. The Love & Hip Hop star has joined forces with Ms. Jackson, and the duo have inked a deal with WalMart and a company called ‘Pretty Panty.’ The ‘Pretty Panties’ are underwear designed specifically for women to wear during “that time of month.”
An official press release went out for Ms. Jackson and Stevie J’s ‘Pretty Panty Party’ – where they will be promoting the product. Yes, you can buy tickets and ride on a ‘Pretty Panty Party Bus’ with Stevie J. and Ms. Jackson for the night.
The press released reads, “Stevie J is more than a prolific musician but he’s a dynamic businessman who’s using his celebrity to bring about awareness to all of the ladies with his latest venture with Ms. Jackson as they present My Pretty Panty. Steve J and Ms Jackson are presenting a dope product to help the ladies feel comfortable and oh so pretty during that special time of the month.”
Rumor has it that hustling period panties is not the only thing that Stevie J and Ms. Jackson are doing together. It looks like they may be linked romantically as well. Stevie and Joseline Hernandez have both hinted that they are no longer together, and Ms. Jackson has been referring to Stevie as “My Guy” on social media and posting tons of pictures of them out on the town together.
